Not to knock off this product, but if you buy creatine and whey protein and mix it together, you will get the same results as that of the p90x recovery drink. take mens multi vitamins, and you are going to have less sugar intake since the GNC why protein pro performance has 1g of sugar as opposted to 20 some odd grams or more of sugar in the p90x recovery drink. the extra energy you get is from the creatine.

I just started the P90X 2 weeks ago. The first 3 work outs I did not take the recovery drink and I was destroyed. I could barely walk, barely lift my arms and my energy was ZAPPED. I started taking the P90X recovery drink on the fourth workout and it made a huge difference. It took away a lot of the soreness and I have a ton of energy every day. It might be a little spendy but it's totally worth it. In my opinion, if you're going to work your butt off to get fit you should maximize your workouts by taking a recovery drink.

I totally understand where the last reviewer is coming from. But guess what, nothing is ACTUALLY worth what it costs. Nike sneakers should only cost us like $3, but we pay $80... that's life!

Do P90X for 2 weeks without the recovery drink, and then try recovery drink for 2 weeks and youtell us all if you don't feel a difference in energy and lack of soreness!

If you want to get the type of results you see in the infomercial you gotta have a protein / energy drink. Women may not have a need to get as strong as dudes but men are definitely looking to gain more muscle. It does work if you read up on how it works...just google "recovery drinks". It's not cheap but if you want the results....

You might think that this sounds crazy but this stuff makes a real difference! I decided to buy a tub of recovery drink after already doing the program for three and a half weeks. It sounds weird but I was able to do more pull ups, and had way more energy than I did before during my workouts!
