Pull-ups and chin-ups are an essential part of the program, but let's face it we're not all ready to bang out 20 chin-ups in a row on day one of P90X or P90X2! That's where the Chin-Up Max comes into play. It attaches to the
P90X Chin-Up Bar and at the bottom you simply place one foot in the loop so that you have some support for your pull-up moves.
As you become stronger and stronger and learn proper form, simply adjust the Chin-Up Max by removing a band or two and overtime you'll be able to train your muscles to where you won't need any assistance at all—It's a brilliant device!
