While Insanity never utilized weights before, Shaun T. bends the rules a bit here. Further sculpt your upper-body and gain even more muscle definition with your choice of either weights or resistance bands.

What else do I need?

While the Insanity Workout doesn't require any weights, the Insanity Workout Upgrade does, specifically for the Upper Body Weighted Workout routine. If you have your own set of free weights at home, you'll be good to go. If not we recommend using resistance bands like the ones we offer.

Resistance Bands (Women) (Men) (Complete)
The Upper Body Weighted workout will require the use of weights or bands. Resistance bands are a great alternative to free weights. They're less expensive, easy to store away when not in use and you can take them with you when you're on the road or on vacation. We have band kits geared to both men and women, check out the "Recommended Items" tab at the top of the page for details.
