Are You Ready for the P90X+ Workout Schedule?

When you first started P90X, you may have thought you would never see day 90. Now you’re nearing the end and looking for the next challenge. Though P90X is a challenging workout program, your body does adjust to it and rise to the challenge. When you’ve completed the three phases of this system and are ready to add a new challenge, the P90X+ Workout schedule is a perfect addition.

P90X+ was made as a follow-up to the original P90X system. It is not for beginners and is only designed for people who have already graduated the P90X program. It is difficult. And unless your body is already accustomed to seriously intense workouts, you are not ready for it.

P90X+ Is For P90X Graduates

The P90X+ workout schedule isn’t an entirely new system. It builds upon what you’ve learned in P90X. You don’t have to learn a whole new approach or get used to a new trainer. Tony Horton’s silly antics are still here and he is bringing it to a higher level with these challenging workouts. You will simply take what you used with your 90 days on P90X and ramp it up to get even more dramatic results.

5 New Hardcore Workouts

What you are adding to P90X with the P90X+ Workout schedule is five brand new workouts. You aren’t going to stop using the original P90X DVDs, you’ll simply fit these into your weekly routines:

  1. Interval X Plus
  2. Upper Plus
  3. Abs/Core Plus
  4. Kenpo Cardio Plus
  5. Total Body Plus

Just from the titles you can see how these build upon what you already know. But like the P90X workouts, they introduce new challenges every single time you use them.

P90X+ Challenges You to More Dramatic Results

Anytime you do a challenging workout and really put all of your effort into it, you will see some results. It’s when a workout program becomes too easy that the results slow and even stop. The purpose of the P90X+ workout schedule is to keep challenging you. By keeping the workout schedule varied and adding these new workouts, you’ll find that muscle confusion is still the name of the game. When you keep your body guessing, it has no other choice but to respond.

So, when are you ready for the P90X+ workout schedule? When you’ve completed at least 90 days of P90X and are prepared to “bring it” to another level of effort and another level of rewards!

What Do You Do When You Finish P90X?

When you begin P90X, you can’t think much further than the workout you’re on. Especially in the beginning, worrying about what will come next is a little too ambitious. But once you finish the 90 day experience, you’ll be totally ready for a new challenge. So, what do you do when you finish P90X? You find another mountain to climb, another workout schedule to take your results even further. Fortunately, there are a few different options:

P90X Doubles: When you’re wondering what do you do when you finish P90X but you aren’t completely ready to buy another program, you can start P90X Doubles. The great thing about doubles, is you don’t have to purchase anything more than what you already have. Within the pages of your P90X Fitness Guide, you’ll find a schedule for the doubles approach. This approach will require a bit more time than the original P90X approach, twice the time in fact. But it will also supercharge your results.

P90X Plus: The Next level: If P90X Doubles requires too much time, time that you don’t have, you could opt for the P90X Plus package. This is a supplement to P90X. It isn’t an entire new workout program but adds five new workouts to the P90X package. These workouts answer the question what do you do when you finish P90X by giving you additional challenges and a new workout calendar to work on. The new workouts include Interval X Plus, Kenpo Cardio Plus, Upper Plus, Total Body Plus, and Abs/Core Plus. You’ll mix these in with the original P90X workouts to create serious muscle confusion and whole new challenges.

P90X2: P90X2 is the latest creation from Beachbody and Tony Horton. It’s so new, we haven’t even released it yet (at the time of this blog post). This program is designed to take your P90X results to a whole new level. It combines knowledge and research from fitness experts who put their heads together for 2 years to come up with the best program possible. After P90X, Then What?

Ready for the next challenge?

Ninety days ago you probably thought this day would never come. Actually, ninety days ago, you probably felt motivated and great—getting ready to start the P90X journey. A few weeks in, you may have struggled with motivation and making your P90X routines a daily habit. Three months can seem like a long time when you are engaged in a life changing workout experience. But you’ve made it and you likely have some amazing results to show for it. If you’re like most people after achieving this kind of goal, you’re ready for the next challenge…ready to ask: After P90X, then what?

When you’ve finished the 90 day P90X program, you have a few different options. Many people who initially wonder after P90X, then what, end up doing the program again. Sure it’s easier the second time around but because this system is made to challenge nearly everyone, you can definitely get progressively better results even the second time around.

Another alternative after P90X, then what, is to do P90X Doubles Approach. This approach has you doing twice the workouts of the original P90X schedule. It’s definitely challenging and will only supercharge your already dramatic results. This requires some time management skills as you will be doubling some of your time spent working out. But with that double effort, comes double rewards.

Finally, if you’ve completed P90X for the first or second time and are looking for something new, you can try P90X Plus The Next Level. This program is designed strictly for P90X graduates. If you’re wondering after P90X, then what, this program will definitely fit the bill.

P90X Plus comes with five additional workout DVDs including Interval X Plus, Kenpo Cardio Plus, Upper Plus, Total Body Plus, and Abs/Core Plus. These workouts are not for beginners and are strictly for those people who have finished at least 90 days of P90X and are wondering what to do next. You must work your way up to these workouts as they are a great challenge.

If you are at the point where you are wondering after P90X, then what, you should congratulate yourself. It takes a serious amount of dedication and hard work to get as far as you have. You likely had to overcome some time management issues, motivation problems, feelings of self-doubt, and a sometimes-uncooperative body in order to make it 90 days with P90X. But, you did it. And now, you’re up for the next challenge.

“Am I Ready for P90X Plus?”

There was a day when you may have had doubts if you could get through 90 days of P90X. You might have been nervous about starting the program, unsure of where it would take you. This program was specifically made for people who were successful on P90X and who are looking for the next big challenge.

P90X is a challenging system. You’ve likely seen some pretty significant changes in your body within the last 90 days. Your muscles have tightened up and become more visible as your body fat has dropped. For many people, the P90X program uncovers a body they didn’t even realize was there. There were likely days where you didn’t feel like working out, when your old self tried to convince you that you didn’t need it or that it would be okay to skip a day or two. But you powered through and made it to the 90 day mark. Congratulations!

So, are you ready for P90X Plus? Well if you’ve completed the initial P90X system then yes, you are likely ready to jump in to P90X Plus. Many people choose to order P90X Plus when they initially order P90X. They have unshakeable confidence that they will move beyond the initial 90 days and want to be ready for when day 91 comes. Whether you have P90X or need to wait for its arrival, your ability to finish the initial 90 days is a clear indication that you’re up for the next challenge.

P90X Plus is made for P90X graduates. I can’t say this enough—P90X Plus is NOT for beginners! You have to earn the ability to do this program. Jumping right in can lead to injury and serious disappointment so please don’t put the cart (P90X Plus) before the horse (P90X).

P90X Plus comes with 5 new extreme workouts. These include Interval X Plus, Kenpo Cardio Plus, Upper Plus, Total Body Plus, and Abs/Core Plus. These workouts are like a regular P90X workout times ten. If you remember how challenging the P90X workouts were in the first weeks of your program, you’ll get an idea of how these workouts will initially feel. But progress comes at a price. With these challenges come pretty big rewards and if you were impressed with the results you got from P90X, you’ll be blown away with P90X Plus!

Assessing Your P90X Results

When you began the P90X program you no doubt had some goals in mind. Hopefully you didn’t just have them “in mind”, you wrote them down as well. Once you reach the 90 day mark, it’s time to assess your P90X results and determine how to move on. But before we get too deep into what comes after P90X, let’s talk about tracking your results before the 90 days are up.

P90X results aren’t just something that comes along on the 90th day. No, you’ve probably been seeing results from the first week on the program. These results, no matter how small or dramatic they are, are important. We cannot stress enough how important it is to track your P90X results along the way. Not only does it significantly boost your motivation, it helps you pin point areas that need a bit more work.

Once you reach the end of the P90X workout program, you should have a fairly significant amount of information on your P90X results.  Whether you tracked your measurements weekly or biweekly, you likely have a good deal of numbers written down. Also, your before and after photos are a great indication of your P90X results.

Compile all of the information you have from the last 90 days and take some time to evaluate it. Did you achieve your goals? Are there areas you would still like to improve upon? Do you feel like you did everything you could to reach the goals you set for yourself.

At the 90 day mark, it would be easy to stop working out and quickly regress back to that “before” picture. But most people who have come this far are ready for more. They are ready to take those P90X results to the next level.

Fortunately, there is another level. P90X Plus The Next Level is the obvious next step after Day 90 of the original P90X program. P90X+ adds 5 new workouts to the P90X program, sure to elevate your P90X results even further. Just when you thought you were done, Tony Horton is back to push you further and bring you the results you’ve always wanted from a workout program.

With P90X+ you get an Interval X Plus workout, Kenpo Cardio Plus, Upper Plus, Total Body Plus, and Abs/Core Plus. If you thought your P90X results were dramatic, give this program an additional 90 days and you will be blown away. Remember to track your progress for another assessment afterwards!
