Some women feel absolutely beautiful when they are pregnant. Others feel like they have grown to ten times their normal size and can’t wait to get back into their pre-pregnancy clothing. Once you have had the baby it is completely normal to be looking for solutions to eliminate the added fat. When figuring out how to lose baby fat fast, it’s crucial that you consider both diet and an premium workout program.
The answer to “how to lose baby fat fast” involves a workout system that combines cardio with the right amount of strength training. One without the other simply isn’t as effective and while you may drop the weight, your results won’t be as great as if you combine both approaches.
Turbo Jam is a great example of an excellent program for helping you learn how to lose baby fat fast. This is a high energy workout system that combines dance, kickboxing, and weight training with super high energy fun. A test group reportedly burned up to 1,000 calories with a one hour Turbo Jam workout. These workouts, with trainer Chalene Johnson, are an excellent way to torch the baby fat while having fun.
Another good choice for losing the pregnancy weight is the Slim in 6 program. Debbie Siebers leads this program that has the potential to deliver a transformed body in six weeks! When paired with a good diet, the Slim In Six program is a surefire way to get your sleek, sexy physique back on track.
Lastly, if you like dance and are struggling with how to lose baby fat fast, consider Hip Hop Abs. This program will allow you to use some modern dance moves and music to sculpt a lean body. It pays special attention to the abs and after carrying a baby, your belly could probably use the extra attention.
Losing the baby fat requires dedication to a high quality fitness program and a carefully watched diet. Being a mom doesn’t mean you can’t have a killer bod. Check out all of our workout programs for help with eliminating that pregnancy weight once and for all.

It seems the majority of people have a love/hate relationship with ab workouts. While mid-workout can be excruciating, we love the feeling of tightness that occurs afterwards. This soreness is a sign that what you are doing is working and it pushes you to work even harder. Ab workouts are designed to give you maximum results in the muscles from just beneath your ribcage to just below your navel, the area of your body commonly looked to as a symbol of health.
The news has been telling us for the past several years that a large tummy is a sign of poor health. This article from WebMd last year goes so far as to say that belly fat can double your risk of death. Ab workouts are just one of many ways we seek to combat the dreaded belly fat and its resulting poor health.
Ab workouts don’t need to be the only approach to losing belly fat and maintaining optimal health, however. You shouldn’t neglect the importance of a good diet. Eating the right foods will allow those rock hard abs to show through. Otherwise, the fruit of your ab workouts will just remain buried under a layer of fat.
Ab workouts should always include more than basic crunches. When considering how to get your midsection in shape, make certain you are also considering core workouts. While your core includes your abdominal muscles, it also includes your back and chest. These muscles work together to keep you upright, give you good posture, and when combined with a healthy diet, decrease body fat.
Ab workouts might be the thing that you dread the most. There are many people who live for their ab workouts, however. Although I am not one of them, you may be. For you it should be easy. However, if you abhor your ab workouts, consider some alternatives. Programs like Hip Hop Abs work the abs without crunches and without even going to the floor.
Crucial to your overall fitness, ab workouts should not be neglected…even when you can’t stand them!

For those of you who have experienced the Hip Hop Abs workout, you know this Shaun T guy has some serious energy. His infectious attitude and constant smile make it a little easier to keep up with his workouts. But, who is the man behind the workout gear and dance moves? Well, his career certainly didn’t start with Hip Hop Abs and it won’t end there either.
Shaun T, more formerly known as Shaun Thompson, is a native of New Jersey. He attended Rowan University where he majored in Sports Science and minored in Theater and Dance. His love for fitness and dance is apparent with his choices of study.
He choreographed such things as a NCAA Final Four halftime show, the Garden State Dance Festival, and Aaron and Nick Carter’s tour. He also worked to help create the dance moves in the movie Bring It On: All or Nothing and the moves in the Kathy Smith Project: You workout series.
Hip Hop Abs wasn’t created until 2007 and since that time it has rapidly gained popularity. It is a program that displays T’s love of dance with his commitment to fitness. The following year, Shaun T also released Shaun T’s Fit Kids Club, a great solution to getting kids active with a fun and modern program.
In addition to all of these accomplishments, there’s more.
Shaun has appeared as a backup dancer for acts like Mariah Carey, Aaron and Nick Carter, and reggae superstar Elephant Man. He appeared in the movie Beauty Shop and has been seen in shows like Six Feet Under and the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Shaun T has done work with additional companies like Boost, Marc Jacobs, Nike, and the Los Angeles Lakers.
So, in a few words: Shaun T is a lot more than that dancing nut on Hip Hop Abs. He knows what he is doing and loves his work immensely. One only has to see him at work to see his passion for dance and fitness.

You have come to the right place. The abdominal muscles are a symbol of health and pure sexiness. Despite the preoccupation the world has with six pack abs, many of us dread the typical ab workouts. There are only so many variations on the crunch that you can do before you lose your mind and your motivation. Ab workout dancing offers a new way to get an ab session in without crunches. Save your backache for another day, ab workout dancing is here.
Hip Hop Abs is ab workout dancing at its best. Hip music and great choreography allow you to burn fat and tone up your midsection without the boredom of crunches. You don’t have to lay down for this ab workout. As a matter of fact Hip Hop Abs won’t have you on the floor at all.
Music and dance are two things that can really make a workout fun. Ab workout dancing is as fun as it is physically rewarding. Shaun T knows a thing or two about ripped abs and dancing. He combines his knowledge to ensure you get a fun and fat burning workout at the same time.
Absolute Engagement is what Shaun T calls the simultaneous contraction of the abdominal muscles while doing the ab workout dancing moves. By contracting the ab muscles while tilting the pelvis, you get a great flex that engages the entire core.
The bottom line is that Hip Hop Abs is fun and effective. Not many workout programs manage to pair both of these characteristics with great music and additional weight loss tools. Hip Hop Abs offers ab workout dancing in a simple and fun method.
Not a dancer? Don’t worry. Shaun T can easily get you doing these easy moves and having a blast. Plus, that’s why we work out at home: So no one can see us! Don’t be self conscious; just do your best and relish in the results.

Not quite a child and not quite an adult, teens have their own fitness and health concerns. With childhood and adult obesity at all time highs, there is no doubt that teens are struggling as well. Physical fitness for teens should be a priority for parents everywhere. For the teens who aren’t involved in sports or activities, this is especially true.
Physical fitness for teens really isn’t all that different from adult physical fitness. As a matter of fact, most teens could use the same fitness programs as you or I. The question is, would they be interested in them?
Finding a fitness program that a teen will enjoy is the tricky part. Just like adults, these people have already established certain likes and dislikes. Some may enjoy dance while others would prefer to strength train and lift weights. For each teen, the potential preferences are as wide as yours and mine.
Physical fitness for teens who enjoy hot music and dance, things like Turbo Jam and Hip Hop Abs may be appealing. This is particularly true with teen girls. These workouts give them the opportunity to get down and let loose without feeling embarrassed or self conscious like they might in gym class.
For boys or even girls who aren’t into dance, the more strength training focused ChaLEAN Extreme could be a good fit. This program works to develop muscles and definition. For overweight teens this is perfect because, as Chalene Johnson says: “Muscle burns fat!”
Some teens will be as resistant to physical fitness as they are to brussel sprouts. Shoot, some teens are resistant to anything that isn’t their idea. Perhaps allowing them to choose a program will help them take ownership of it. Ask them what they would like to do to stay fit. Be prepared to join in if that’s what it takes.
Physical fitness for teens doesn’t have to be all that different from your own physical fitness. Because they may still be growing, however, be cautious of encouraging overly restrictive dieting. Also, if your teen is interested in supplements, you may want them to speak with their physician first.

The music you choose when doing a workout can have a serious impact on both your attitude about the workout and the effectiveness of the workout. The right music has great results on your session, allowing you to push harder and longer than with no music or poor choice in music. If you have ever worked out to a bad music selection then you know what I mean. Finding the right workout music to get pumped up doesn’t have to be hard.
When music plays during a workout the majority of us are moved to sync our moves with the beat. Sometimes this can be difficult if the workout was not choreographed with the music on the DVD. In order for workout music to get you pumped up, it has to follow the workout. You may have run into this before, you are either following the beat or the workout but you can’t follow both because they don’t fit together.
If you are a runner you know how much the right song can push you at the right time of your run. Some jazz during a long run or bass-heavy rap will do the trick. Rock works best when you are trying to pick up your pace and find the little bit of energy you have left in you. Workout music to get pumped up applies to all types of workouts.
When you workout with a DVD it is important that the moves are synced with the music. Trying to get the moves of a new workout DVD down can be made nearly impossible if the music is off and there is no choreography. The right music paired with the right moves combines for great workout music to get pumped up.
You can see a great example of this in Hip Hop Abs and Turbo Jam, where the workouts and the music go hand in hand. For those of us who are rhythmically inclined, these workouts will definitely give you an extra push. Workout music to get pumped up paired with high quality exercises and training expertise combine to make these two systems a great example of workout music to get pumped up.

We all find ourselves asking the question, “Why can’t I lose weight?” at different points in our life. Logically most of us realize that no fad or gimmick will give us the results we need. We know this because we have tried them all or seen someone close try them. We’ve fallen victim to the empty promises and unrealistic standards of health and beauty. Taking the step to turn what we already know into a successful weight loss and health plan is another story. It is a journey that requires hard work and determination. It requires a shift in your mind—a shift that causes you to stop seeing every weight loss attempt as a diet and more of a lifestyle change. It can be hard to make this shift when you’re discouraged and unhappy with your body. One step at a time, though, you can find your inner health and create confidence and vitality you have never seen before.
Losing weight is a simple mathematical equation. Your calories in must be less than your calories out. This means that throughout the day you must create a caloric deficit. How you create that deficit is key. Many fads and gimmicks focus on calories in or calories out but fail to combine them. The problem with this is that it is near impossible to maintain these drastic measures when quality fitness and nutrition are not used in conjunction with one another.
It is not healthy or realistic in the long term to drastically cut your calories. Some diet plans have people consuming calories at levels that don’t even meet the daily minimum for humans. Our bodies require a certain number of calories every day to function at a healthy level. When you go below this level you may lose weight but will be unable to keep it off due to your inability to maintain the extreme calorie cut.
So the answer to the question “Why can’t I lose weight?” is healthy eating habits paired with a regular exercise routine. Because many of us have not been taught what exactly this means or how to go about combining the two, we turn to tools created to teach us how to treat our bodies in a way that will result in optimal health, physical fitness, and ultimately weight loss.
When you make a decision to change how you treat your body it is important to have a coach, a motivator, and a plan. Not all fitness plans are created equally. In order to maintain success you should select one that pushes your body and provides tools to create a healthy nutrition plan as well. Also important and maybe even more so in the effort to stick with a plan, is that it is enjoyable.
Exercise programs that combine hard work and fun will keep you motivated and keep you coming back even when the motivation isn’t there. Programs like Hip Hop Abs and Turbo Jam get you pumped through modern music you’re used to hearing at dance clubs. Making your workouts fun is vital in continued success.
By fueling your body with high quality nutrition and keeping it youthful and fit through a fun and effective exercise plan, you are well on your way to a lifetime of health and fitness and the dreaded question of “Why can’t I lose weight?” will be a thing of the past.

Did you ever wonder why so many companies organize their programs into 90 day workout segments? It’s because, if the program is followed correctly, and supported by proper nutrition, a 90 day workout is the perfect amount of time to see impressive results in your body composition and make permanent lifestyle changes. Most bodybuilders and fitness competitors even follow that guideline, as they usually begin their contest preparation plans about 90 days before a competition. There are a few things you can do during your 90 day workout program to ensure you get the best results for your efforts. I already mentioned that you need to have proper nutrition to support your 90 day workout. Some programs, such as P90X, Hip Hop Abs and Turbo Jam provide nutrition plans that accompany their 90 day workout programs. However, if the 90 day workout that you’ve chosen to follow doesn’t have a built in nutrition plan, there are a few healthy eating tips that you can follow that are guaranteed to help you get the most out of your program. First, make sure you eat plenty of lean protein to support the rehabilitation of hard worked muscles. Next, avoid refined and enriched carbohydrate sources. Don’t avoid carbs altogether, simply make smart choices. Go for the whole wheat / whole grain options instead of the regular white options. Finally, limit your fat intake and avoid saturated fats altogether. Try to get Omega-3 fats into your diet, either through whole foods or supplements like our Core Omega-3. Oh yeah, and of course drink a lot of water to help flush toxins and hydrate your muscles. Combine these diet tips with your 90 day workout, and you’ll be sure to see impressive results.
Another way you can ensure that you get the most out of your 90 day workout program is to take dietary supplements that will optimize fat burning, improve you immune system and help you stay on track while following a healthy diet plan. Most 90 day workout programs are pretty intense. They can take a lot from your body, and you need to make sure that you’re consuming the proper vitamins and minerals to aid in recovery from hard workouts and to minimize potential for illness and injury. Again, some 90 day workout programs like P90X, Turbo Jam and Hip Hop abs offer their own Slimming Formulas to burn fat and energize workouts and ome also come with Herbal Immunity Boosters to keep you healthy during your 90 day workout plan. Nutritional supplements like Meal Replacement Shakes and protein bars also go along way in helping you stay on track with your nutrition plan. These items are convenient and they are loaded with ingredients to support the intense training associated with 90 day programs.
Finally, to get maximum results from your 90 day workout you have to be 100% committed to the program for the duration of the plan. Most 90 day workouts are designed to give you the tools you’ll need to continue living a fit and healthy lifestyle long after the 90 day workout is over. These programs are about committing to hard work and making lifestyle changes that will promote continued weight loss and fitness into your future.
