The best purchasing decisions are informed purchasing decisions. Particularly when it comes to fitness programs, it’s important to learn everything you can about the program you are considering. Checking out retailer information and consumer testimonials are both great ways to get informed. ChaLEAN Extreme reviews are a great way to learn about the successes some people have had with this particular program.
Like almost any fitness program, there are numerous ChaLEAN Extreme reviews available online. These reviews are most often from regular people like you and I who have purchased this life changing system in hopes of making changes with their body. Some may have weight loss goals, while others want more muscle definition. It’s important to keep these different goals in mind when reading over the reviews.
Many ChaLEAN Extreme reviews are posted as blogs. In this era of information, many people choose to blog about their entire weight loss or fitness transformation journey. These are some of the best sources for really comprehensive ChaLEAN Extreme reviews. They will give details to each one of the included workouts and will likely divulge good critique on the eating plan as well.
It’s important to remember that not every person who has tried this workout program will be 100% satisfied. They say that people who are unhappy are more likely to talk about it than those who are pleased. For this reason, be sure to read plenty of ChaLEAN Extreme reviews to get a good cross section of the overall response.
ChaLEAN Extreme reviews are just one valuable tool to use when deciding if the program is right for you. Take the time to evaluate all of your options. Consider additional programs like P90X and Ten Minute Trainer if you decide ChaLEAN Extreme might not be right for you.

There are many high quality workout programs currently on the market. We sell several of them here. Two of our top sellers, ChaLEAN Extreme and P90X seem to appeal to the same demographic: people who want to make a major lifestyle change and get seriously fit in a relatively short amount of time. Something else about this demographic: They aren’t scared of a little sweat and hard work. We’ve hear people ask “Which is the better system?” and while we can’t say one is more effective than the other, we can say that when looking at ChaLEAN Extreme vs. P90X, they do take different approaches.
When discussing ChaLEAN Extreme vs. P90X, it is important to note their similarities. BOTH are intense workout programs. BOTH require complete dedication to your fitness goals. And BOTH will give you amazing results.
So, what makes them different? Quite simply, not a whole lot. While the workouts are quite different from each other, they both focus on building muscle and strength. There are several reasons for this, the first being that increased muscle mass will boost your metabolism. In addition, once the fat is lost, it will reveal a more defined and toned figure if you have built a strong base. When contrasting ChaLEAN Extreme vs. P90X, the main differences are in the specific workouts themselves.
ChaLEAN Extreme includes 3 stages: Burn, Push, and Lean. In each of these stages, users will do intense weight training, lifting slow and lifting heavy to reach maximum muscle failure. In addition, the system adds some cardio to keep the heart and lungs strong while burning calories.
With P90X, you get 12 very different workouts, each targeting a specific muscle group or a unique cardio approach. This system works off the idea of muscle confusion, keeping the workouts highly varied for maximum results.
When wondering which workout system is right for you, ChaLEAN Extreme vs. P90X, the decision comes down to which workouts look more sustainable for you. You have to like your workouts on some level in order to stay committed. Check out the product pages on these systems for more information on each of the workouts included in the series’.

While we know the actual title of this program is ChaLEAN Extreme, the misspelling of Chalene Extreme is an understandable mistake we often see in searches. Chalene Johnson is a force to be reckoned with and although the program is names after her it is, afterall, a play on words. This home workout system will help you develop lean, defined muscle mass and a sculpted body without all the fat. It does offer a unique approach, so knowing what to expect ahead of time can be helpful.
Muscle Burns Fat.
The ChaLEAN/Chalene Extreme program is based on that simple statement. The entire program is developed to increase your muscle mass in order to boost metabolism. Will that make you bulky and masculine looking? No. If you are a woman, there is a very slim chance that you will develop masculine looking muscle mass without hormonal supplements.
Instead, “muscle burns fat” refers to the simple fact that a body with greater muscle mass has a higher metabolism. This means, the more muscle you have, the easier it will be to lose fat. By putting muscle on with the Chalene Extreme program, you are creating great definition and whittling away at the squishy stuff.
Lifting heavy weights slowly, according to Chalene Extreme, will maximize your muscle gains, giving you greater results in a shorter amount of time. So when you begin this program don’t expect to set any speed records with your weight lifting reps. Slowing down allows each muscle to be engaged and it also means you will reach muscle fatigue with less reps (definitely a good thing).
Expect major changes when you commit to three months with Chalene Extreme. Johnson states that by following her program you can expect to lose up to 60% of your body fat within those three months. If that’s not motivation, I don’t know what is. So, whether you spell it ChaLEAN Extreme or Chalene Extreme, the results are the same. Put in 3 months of hard work and see a lifetime of fitness goals come to fruition!

Okay, we here at ExtremeBody Workout like resistance band exercises. No, it’s not only because we sell resistance bands but because we truly believe they are a great way to get fit. Their unassuming appearance often gets them overlooked by people serious about getting fit, and this is unfortunate.
Resistance band exercises can be as effective as dumbbell workouts. They offer an alternate way of getting fit in an inexpensive and convenient small package. Resistance bands like those that we have here, come in several “weights” or resistance levels. This allows you to get proper resistance for your workouts, similar to choosing the right dumbbells or plate settings at the gym.
Several of our workout systems use resistance band exercises. They don’t do this to sell resistance bands, they do this because resistance bands work! Whether you are looking at Ten Minute Trainer, ChaLEAN Extreme, or P90X, you will find people making radical body transformations with the use of resistance band exercises.
Aside from them being effective, resistance bands are far more portable than dumbbells. When’s the last time you tried carrying your weights on a plane or packing your home gym in your trunk? Resistance bands are easily stored and easily transported. Depending on your workplace, you could even fit a few resistance bands into your desk drawer for use throughout the day.
Resistance band exercises work on many levels, furthering your fitness goals and making it easy to step your workouts up to another level. Using resistance bands in your workout plan will get you serious results and do so at a minimal cost when compared with the alternatives.
The best resistance band exercises are those that you can adjust to meet your fitness needs. There really is a never ending number of options when working out with resistance bands. Check out any of our fitness programs for new resistance band moves and highly effective fitness training.

We all know what foods are healthy and which are not. Sometimes the only thing that stands between us and the body we dream of, however, is the power to make those healthy choices consistently. Although a free guide to eating healthy doesn’t always contain things that we don’t already know, it puts the knowledge together and gives us a game plan.
Workout systems like P90X and ChaLEAN Extreme come with a free guide to eating healthy. These programs are total body transformation programs that recognize it takes more than workouts to make a new physique. These are high caliber regimens that require the right fuel for the job and the free guide to eating healthy provides it.
In order to be relevant, a free guide to eating healthy has to be more than free! It must contain well thought out meal plans and proper nutrition for people who are trying to do more than get enough servings of fruit in a day. These free guides to eating healthy must give people the information to make the right choices day in and day out while demanding a whole lot from their bodies.
A free guide to eating healthy like the Nutrition Guide from P90X should be packed with information, tips, recipes, and meal plans. It should give people the ammunition they need to attack their poor eating habits and bring about major change using the P90X program.
When you are prepared to find a real worthwhile healthy eating guide, take a look at complete fitness programs like ChaLEAN Extreme. Although you will pay for the program, you will be repaid many times over with how your body looks and feels following a few months of hard work.

So many people get very preoccupied with the number on a scale. While weight can be a good indicator of health, there are others as well. When you look specifically for weight loss workouts, you can either be disappointed when the scale doesn’t budge or stop the workouts once the weight is lost. The key is to see your workouts as more than weight loss workouts, see them as a new hobby or a health workout.
Nearly any workout, when paired with the right diet, can help an overweight person lose weight. Simply choosing one that includes cardio and strength training is a good place to start. Weight loss workouts are simply workouts that burn calories or build muscles.
Sure, the best workouts do both, including strength training and cardio. But either one can lead to weight loss. Cardio workouts are great weight loss workouts because they immediately burn calories. Strength training workouts are also good weight loss workouts. As they build muscles, your metabolism increases. This means that you are burning more calories when you are laying around on the couch or sitting at your desk as well.
All of the workouts here at ExtremeBody Workout can be considered weight loss workouts. When you pair a program like P90X with the Nutrition Guide, it becomes far more than a weight loss workout, it becomes a total body transformation system. Similarly, ChaLEAN Extreme is a great weight loss workout, using strength training to help people achieve their weight loss goals.
Remember you aren’t just choosing these workouts to help you lose weight and then abandoning them. Choose something that will help you reach your goals but also something that you can include as a regular feature in your life. Learning to see fitness as more than a means to an end helps make it a more maintainable healthy habit.

Everyone should get regular exercise. Whether you are a “pear” who holds their weight in the hips and thighs, or an “apple” who has a hard time losing fat around the middle, you need physical fitness to stay in shape and healthy. Depending on who you ask, there may or may not be specific exercises you can do to fine tune your problem areas. To exercise for your body type means to cater your workout to the results that you want to see in your shape.
We know there is no such thing as spot reduction. If you have a big stomach, all the crunches in the world won’t flatten it. They might strengthen the abdominal muscles underneath the fat, but they won’t reduce that spare tire. If you can’t spot reduce can you really exercise for your body type?
When you say you want to exercise for your body type, the reality of it depends on what you mean. Like previously stated, spot reducing won’t work so quit the crunches for fat loss and concentrate on total body moves like those in ChaLEAN Extreme. However, if you are plagued with chicken legs or an underdeveloped chest, building up muscles through specific strength training can add definition and mass.
Muscle burns fat and by strength training you can add muscle mass and definition to your entire body. As you increase your muscle mass your metabolism will also increase, burning more fat even at rest. Concentrate on defining those areas where you will see the most gains. For instance, if you have skinny legs and a non-existent rear end, try squats and lunges. While you begin to see some definition in your legs the muscle will assist you in fat loss throughout your entire body.
If you want to exercise for your body type and think there are specific moves that will change you from a natural “apple” to a coke bottle, think again. Where we gain fat is most often determined by genetics. The exercises I do, as a natural apple, will be just as effective for you. And if they aren’t it won’t be because we have different body types.

Most of you likely remember the targeted workouts that came out a few decades back. Promising to give you a butt to bounce quarters off of and rock hard abs, these systems were based on spot training at its best. They sold separately making for quite an expense when you figured in one system for your rear, one for your things, one for your abs, and so on. Now, the fitness industry is getting a little wiser and so are we, as consumers. Full body home workout systems are where it’s at now and promise serious results for those dedicated to investing the time and effort.
Plain and simple: targeted spot training doesn’t work. Sure, an abs workout will build up your abdominal muscles, but if you have a spare tire or are looking to whittle away your Santa Claus belly, an ab workout won’t cut it. You can build all the muscle you want with toning workouts but the best results come when you focus on unwrapping the layer of fat that hides them. A full body home workout can do this and much more.
There are two ways to burn fat, through short term calorie burning and long term increases in metabolism.
Calorie deficits can be created by cutting your daily intake and by increasing your daily calorie burn. Cardio workouts are great calorie burners that can quickly create a calorie deficit and lead to weight loss. The best full body home workout systems include a few cardio workouts.
Increasing your metabolism is done with weight training and the subsequent gain in muscle mass. Muscle requires more fuel than fat. This means that for every pound of fat you replace with muscle, your metabolism will increase. Programs like ChaLEAN Extreme and P90X base much of their system off of this premise, working to increase your muscle mass and create a chiseled physique with a variety of both targeted and full body home workouts.
A full body home workout system is far superior to purchasing one DVD or even multiples in an attempt to create your own balanced regimen. Full body home workout programs created by skilled and experienced fitness professionals deliver results for a reason.

Free weights are an excellent way to strength training. Although not everyone has free weights at their disposal, they are an excellent and traditional way to build muscle and improve total physical fitness. A free weights workout program allows you to build muscle similar to what you would do at a gym. With just a few free weights you can get a great workout at home.
Free weights refer to any free standing weights that are not connected to a weight training machine. Dumbbells and long weight bars for benching are both considered free weights. A few decades ago, free weights workout programs were the most popular way to weight train. Since that time, gym machines, resistance bands, and non weight bearing exercises have all had their chance at popularity. While all of these are excellent ways to tone and get fit, free weights remain a great method of building muscle.
A free weights workout program should focus on separate muscle groups and work each group to muscle failure. This is the term used when you cannot possibly do another rep. Working to the point of muscle failure builds muscle in the fastest most effective manner.
A great example of an excellent free weights workout program is ChaLEAN Extreme. Chalene Johnson created this program because she understands that muscle burns fat and through building muscle people can achieve the body of their dreams.
Another great free weights workout program is P90X. P90X combines both cardio and weight training workouts to create the most extreme total body program currently available. Both of these systems provide moves for free weights as well as resistance bands. This means that both of these systems provide you with multiple effective methods of strength training.

A few years back a study came out about the effectiveness of using a food diary while dieting. The research showed that people who diligently tracked what they ate made more progress on their weight loss goals and were more likely to keep the weight off. Similarly, using a printable workout log can increase your progress on a fitness program.
When you track your progress you can immediately see your improvements. With programs like P90X and ChaLEAN Extreme you may track what weight you used and how many reps you completed on your printable workout log. As your strength improves your reps and weights will increase, allowing for visual confirmation of your hard work.
It feels good to see those numbers grow. As you work harder and get stronger you will be rewarded by the growth on your printable workout log.
Similarly, many runners use printable workout logs. This allows them to mark how far they ran, their speed, the weather, and how they felt. This allows athletes to pay attention to factors that can influence their workout. For instance if a run is easier when the weather is cooler.
Adding your opinion of the workout to your printable workout log is a great idea. You may learn that you have better workouts in the evenings or after a light snack. Perhaps you finish your workouts stronger if you do them first thing in the morning, however. Little things you may not have noticed previously become obvious when using a printable workout log.
Use them to track your physical progress as well as your mental state and how you feel after a workout. Workout logs have many benefits and pushing you towards your goals is just one of them.

Working out at a gym takes a certain type of person. Most of us are not that person. We don’t like the driving there, the waiting for machines, and the feeling self conscious if we aren’t already fit when we get there. It’s a shame really that we shouldn’t feel comfortable getting fit in a place made for us to get fit, but it’s true for many people. No gym workout is as comfortable as working out at home and many of us would rather be getting our exercise where we can be comfortable.
As you don your spandex or holey t-shirt and sweats you probably feel comfortable knowing that no one will see you working out in your home. It is easy to see why people would rather get their fitness at home. You can sweat all you need to, wear what you want, and not have to worry about people seeing you make those faces or hearing your pant and grunt when the workout gets too hard. No gym workout allows you that kind of privacy.
No gym workout is as sanitary as working out in your own home either. Gross is wiping someone else’s sweat off of a machine when they don’t have the courtesy to do it for you. Sitting in other people’s funk to get your workout in doesn’t seem like a fair trade-off to me. Working out at home, you are the only sweaty beast and you can rest assured you won’t have to wait your turn for one of the showers.
Working out at home is great on a budget. No gym workout is free. Working out at home costs very little if anything at all. You may for a high quality workout system like P90X or ChaLEAN Extreme, but aside from that the only monthly charge you will have is buying the new clothes you will need as your body starts to change.
No gym workout can give everyone the same level of satisfaction. While some people consider the gym their second home, most prefer to work out where they feel comfortable and for many that is home.

Short answer: yes! Resistance bands offer great strength training capabilities in a small portable package. They look unassuming but they pack a powerful punch when used correctly. Strength training with resistance bands is a great way to get fit. Whether you are using P90X or ChaLEAN Extreme, these bands are an essential tool in your fitness program.
There is a reason these workout programs use resistance bands: strength training with resistance bands work. While some people simply prefer free weights, others like the portability and compactness of resistance bands. You can take these anywhere and easily tuck them away when not in use.
Strength training with resistance bands does take a period of adjustment. As you learn the best ways to utilize the bands you will become better and quicker at choosing the correct band and getting into position. Using the bands will become second nature and you will definitely get a great toning workout every time.
Nearly all of our programs, P90X, Turbo Jam, 10 Minute Trainer, and ChaLEAN Extreme, all use resistance bands. It’s your choice: you can use free weights or you can use the bands. Whichever your preferred method is, these programs provide instructions for them both.
While you may have a bit of doubt in your mind about the effectiveness of strength training with resistance bands, that doubt will go out the window after your first workout. One day of strength training with resistance bands will have your muscles feeling that good burn, that soreness that tells you it’s working.
Don’t underestimate these cute little bands, they provide serious resistance and an excellent method of building muscles, increasing strength, and gaining that sleek defined body you have only dreamed about.

Remember a few decades ago when all of the home workout systems were cardio? Aerobics was everywhere. Dance aerobics, step aerobics; everyone was in on the fad. Back then toning involved some crunches or perhaps weight free tricep kick backs, but it seldom went any further. Now, however, we know workout routines for toning are very important both in losing weight and staying fit.
Workout routines for toning should involve some serious effort. “Toning” refers to gaining better muscle tone. In order to reap the real benefits of having better muscle tone, you must build some muscle. In order to do that, you have got to work.
High quality home fitness systems always include workout routines for toning because their creators understand the importance of good muscle tone. An increase in muscle tone will increase your metabolism. Yes, one of the greatest benefits of workout routines for toning is the increase in fat burning capabilities. This happens because the muscles you build require more calories per day to sustain than fat.
Another important reason for workout routines for toning is, with greater muscle tone you will appear slimmer. When your body contains well balanced muscle tone, you stand up straighter and the definition is obvious. You can lose weight without great muscle tone, but trust me, it will look better with muscle tone.
Programs like P90X and ChaLEAN Extreme dedicate a large portion of time to workout routines for toning. These strength training routines are nothing short of a major challenge. What you put into them, however, you get out of them. Your hard work definitely pays off with these programs.
As you change your diet and increase your activity levels, you will notice changes in your body composition. When you add workout routines for toning to this, your body will take on new shapes. More defined shoulders, a whittled waist and toned, sexy legs will be yours before long. Toning and strength training definitely have a big impact on how you look, and in turn, how you feel.
