Everything is done at full speed in your life. From your commute to your meal preparation, you hardly take a break to sleep. The minute the alarm sounds in the morning you are in the shower, dressed, and out the door. Meals are always something easy and within reach and workouts are non-existent. Perhaps you have toyed with the idea of starting a fitness program, but time has been the major obstacle. You need a fast workout for your fast life that will give you great, maintainable results. We must take time for ourselves in our busy lives. You can’t go on running at full speed without giving yourself moments to recharge and reconnect with your body. Non-stop action leads to serious stress. Stress can be a factor leading to obesity, heart disease, and high blood pressure. Because you are constantly on the move, it takes some serious scheduling and dedication to stay with a fitness routine. However, when your fitness routine contains fast workouts like 10 Minute Trainer, finding time is easier. 10 Minute Trainer was created with people like you in mind. Tony Horton knew that the modern adult needed a fast workout that could easily be incorporated into their busy daily schedule. With manageable 10 minute workouts, busy adults can more easily fit fitness into their lives. By simply carving 10 minutes out before your morning shower or 10 minutes when winding down in the evening you can be on your way to a healthy body and lower stress.
A fast workout can still be an effective workout.
When your body multitasks like you do, the work pays off. Tony created the “super stacking” technique in 10 Minute Trainer to cause your muscles to multitask. Rather than work one group at a time, you often find yourselves working two muscle groups simultaneously to get the most out of your 10 minute workout.
If you have a little more time on the weekend, you can do more than one 10 minute routine. Because these fast workouts are so versatile, you can mix and match them, even doing a full 30 to 40 minute workout if time permits. 10 Minute Trainer workouts will work your body. These aren’t some simple way to spend 10 minutes. But, we know that if you give your fast workout the intensity that you do the rest of your life, you will see great results in a short amount of time.
Finding an effective fast workout to fit into your busy schedule shouldn’t be difficult. When you spend all day running around, you should be able to dedicate 10 Minutes to your health. An excellent fitness routine that even includes 10 minute recipes for meals on the go, the 10 Minute Trainer was made for someone like you.

We all know what it’s like to be too busy for a workout. Sometimes people use their schedule as an excuse to resort to laziness. Often, however, the demands of modern life keep us so busy we have little time for ourselves. If you have become accustomed to the daily grind and have neglected your body, what used to be your biceps are probably soft and undetectable. Your quads may have merged with the rest of your thigh and now may resemble an appendage of flesh rather than the defined muscle it once was. The truth is, you don’t have to dedicate multiple hours everyday to keep your muscle tone in check. There is a strength building routine, even for you. In today’s world it is hard to find time for anything. It might seem like even when you find the time to exercise, you don’t have the energy. If you are seeking to get back the strength you once had but are on a tight schedule, Tony Horton’s 10 Minute Trainer may be right for you. A strength building routine that can improve muscle tone and overall strength in just 10 minutes at a time is the perfect solution. Although Yoga has gained significant popularity over the last decade, many people still have their doubts. They picture chanting and breathing and can’t see how this gentle workout could possibly do anything other than relax them. This misconception couldn’t be further from the truth. While yoga is typically gentle and can be relaxing, it can do wonders for your fitness regime and strengthen and stretch you in ways that other exercises can’t. There are many different styles of yoga. Some are more focused on breathing and meditation while others will rock your body to the core. We are looking at the latter styles and are interested in those styles of yoga that will help you to create a lean and flexible body, strengthening your body through fluid movements and power poses. Ashtanga Yoga, also referred to as Power Yoga, is a type that is different from many others because it requires constant movement rather than extended periods of stillness. Although it is still a no impact exercise, Ashtanga will have you sweating like you ran a mile. With their strong influence of Ashtanga Yoga, the Yoga routine in P90X and 10 Minute Trainer’s Yoga Flex, will show you that yoga is definitely not just about chanting.
Power Yoga requires strength and flexibility that, as a beginner you might not have. One of the great things about Yoga, however, is that the poses can be adjusted to grow with you. This means that you will be challenged appropriately whether you are just starting out or if you have been doing it for years.
Yoga will help you improve flexibility, core strength, and burn calories in a way that you didn’t realize was possible. Being able to step past your misconceptions about Yoga and give it a chance, you will see that Yoga isn’t just for New Age meditation. Yoga can and should be an integral part of your weekly fitness routine.

When searching for an at home exercise routine, you want to ensure that you are getting your money’s worth. If you decide to dedicate yourself to getting fit in your home you want to know that the program you are choosing has the right stuff to keep you interested and get you healthy. With all of the at-home fitness routines on the market, your head may be spinning just trying to decide which one is best for you. So, what should you look for in the best workout videos? 1. Quality exercises: Spending your money on a program that only focuses on one muscle group or single approach will not benefit you as much as one that give you a total body workout. The best workout videos must work your entire body to give you the overall benefits you are seeking. While we all have trouble spots and problem areas, your total body health is more important than simply reducing the size of your saddlebags.
Likewise, a program that only focuses on cardio is less effective than one that also includes strength training. You want to be certain the program you invest in allows for several approaches to maximum fitness. Cardio is great for fat burning and heart health, but in order to increase your metabolism and give you that sleek strong look, strength training is a necessary aspect of the best workout videos.
2. Qualified Instructor: To ensure that your program is designed with the real science of exercise in mind, you want to be sure that it is created by or delivered by a qualified professional. Although it may be tempting to spend your money on a program created and starring your favorite model or television star that is not always the best method in choosing a home workout system.
3. Fun: Yes, the very best workout videos are those that are fun. What would be the value of a home workout system if you couldn’t stick with it? Exercise must be fun in order to keep it interesting and keep your motivation at an all time high. The instructor must have a positive attitude and contagious enthusiasm, especially on those days you would rather be napping.
So, now that we know what to look for, are there any recommendations I can make on the best possible workout videos? Of course! Depending on your fitness levels and goals, Tony Horton has created a few programs that would definitely make the cut of “best workout videos”. For those who have time and a serious amount of dedication, P90X provides serious fat blasting, muscle building training for the highly dedicated. If time is something you never have enough of, check out Horton’s 10 Minute Trainer that offers complete workouts that anyone can schedule. If you’re not sure which one would be best for you, try them both with our 30 day money-back guarantee!

Once you have committed to it, however, the benefits will soon be visible and you will wonder why you didn’t make the transition earlier. One of the hardest parts of making a daily exercise routine is finding the time. While it may be easy to squeeze a full workout in a few times a week, a daily exercise routine is far more difficult. Time management is an art form in many people’s lives. Finding an additional hour can seem near impossible. But if you can fit a daily exercise routine in a fraction of the typical time, it may just be workable. Many fitness routines promise big results in little time. Tony Horton’s 10 Minute Trainer actually delivers. By stacking moves, Horton is able to work your entire body in 10 minutes. Even the busiest people can find 10 minutes a day to change the way they look and feel. The benefits of a daily exercise routine are far too great not to.
With the 10 Minute Trainer series you get 4 10 minute workouts to choose from. The Total Body, Yoga Flex, Cardio, and Lower Body DVD’s work your body in an incredible 10 minutes, saving time and rescuing your body from the neglect your busy schedule insisted on.
They say that a new routine becomes habit after doing it for about a month. After a month of using Tony Horton’s 10 Minute Trainer you will no doubt be seeing results and feeling better about your body and health. This is the perfect daily exercise routine for the modern busy adult.
Daily exercise increases energy levels and can only help your body and mind function consistently at their best. Committing any amount of time to fitness is better than none. But, when the time you commit is filled with full body, heart pumping moves you will feel like you definitely got your time’s worth.

Even since elementary gym class we have been taught to stretch before exercising. Much of the time, as adults, we are so enthused about actually moving our body we skip the stretches. It seems as if when we exercise for weight loss we see stretching as a waste of time, particularly if we are only able to dedicate a limited amount of time to our exercise routine. The benefits of a stretching routine, however, are far reaching and worth the time spent. The subtle stretching movements prepare your cold muscles for exercise by slowly and gently warming them up. If you jump right into a high energy routine without stretching or warming up, your muscles are more prone to injury and soreness. Stretching after exercise has its benefits too, cooling the muscles down and helping to minimize soreness. Stretching both before and after exercise provides a perfect warm -up and cool-down, allowing you to prevent injury while gradually easing you in and out of more intense exercises. Making the extra 5 minutes available for stretching can keep your muscles healthy and make your fitness routine a more pleasurable experience overall.
Aside from using stretching as a warm-up or cool-down, stretching can also be used as a more significant component in your larger fitness plan. The benefits of a stretching routine are multiplied when the time spent stretching is increased. In addition to preventing injuries, stretching can provide many benefits not commonly thought of.
In a study from the American College of Sports Medicine, stretching was found to have a similar effect on muscles as weight training. Although the effects were not as dramatic as weight training, the study showed the benefits of a stretching routine can include a surprising increase in the overall strength of the muscles used.
There is no doubt that stretching improves flexibility. Many of us have experienced firsthand the stiffness that comes with age and inactivity. Stretching can combat that aching and inflexibility. Flexibility and mobility have also been shown to have anti-aging effects, keeping your body moving in a more youthful way.
So, while short periods of stretching provide short term benefits, longer periods of stretching provide improvements that can add to your weight loss goals and overall health. Finding a fitness routine that recognizes the benefits of a stretching routine is important in incorporating these benefits into your life.
Some home work-out systems neglect the importance of stretching all together while others simply touch on it as a warm-up and cool-down method. Trainer Tony Horton recognizes the long reaching benefits of stretching and added a complete stretching workout to his P90X system. A 57 minute stretching DVD is sure to maximize the benefits of stretching and do so in a way that feels good.
Another way to get in your stretching is through workout methods that are based in flexibility training and stretching. Some types of Yoga are excellent for this. With the Yoga Flex routine included in the 10 Minute Trainer system, you can add a complete stretching program into any busy schedule.
Whether you use a DVD totally dedicated to stretching, as in the P90X system, or get your stretching through Yoga, you are reaping the benefits of having a long, lean, flexible body. The benefits of a stretching routine will be evident after consistent application of this activity that not only helps in your health and fitness goals, but also feels great after a long day.

When you see someone like Tony Horton in action you immediately assume that he has great pre-disposition for a buff body. You might be quick to think that “bringing it” has always come easy for Tony. The truth is that Tony Horton had to work for that beach body just like the rest of us. Like many kids, Tony grew up loving fast food and dreading exercise. Horton was a typical bony “weakling” and probably never thought he would bring a fitness phenomenon like Power 90 or P90X to the world. Not even interested in sports, being a fitness icon was never at the front of Horton’s mind. One thing Tony did like was acting, so no one was surprised when Horton moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream after graduating from the University of Rhode Island. He quickly realized in Los Angeles, it pays to be fit. That’s when Tony’s quest for fitness began. Horton joined the famous World Gym in Venice and began transforming his body. Studious by nature, Tony read books and asked questions of the pros at the gym gaining insight into what would one day become his own claim to fame.
Preferring a lean strong look to the stiff compact body builder image, Tony Horton stuck to activities that would improve his cardiovascular fitness while giving him the flexible streamlined but muscular look he desired. As Tony transformed his body dramatically, he also started transforming his life and outlook. People noticed!

Amidst all of the attention, Tony met Carl Daikeler, CEO of Beachbody. The two immediately recognized the potential for a life changing relationship and joined forces. Since that time, Tony Horton, has gone on to create some of the most successful at home fitness programs available.

There is no question that Tony Horton’s 10 Minute Trainer is a fast and effective way of getting fit in a short amount of time. Created with today’s over-scheduled adult in mind, the 10 Minute Trainer program manages to give you a full body workout in just 10 minutes a day. Used alone, the program would work, getting your body into shape 10 minutes at a time. Used in conjunction with resistance bands, however, the program can transform your body much quicker. Celebrity trainer, Tony Horton, developed the 10 Minute Trainer program as an answer to the ever popular excuse for inactivity, “I don’t have the time”. By successfully creating workouts and a nutritional plan targeted at busy adults, he showed that it doesn’t take hours a day to stay fit and active. Because you are fitting a whole body workout into 10 minutes, it is important to really get the most out of it. By including resistance bands in the program Tony found a way to take those 10 minute workout sessions to another level. Resistance bands multiply the energy used by your muscles, burning more calories and building more muscle. Adding any type of resistance to an exercise makes it more productive. Weight lifters would not improve if they didn’t keep adding weight. Runners couldn’t win races if they didn’t keep setting harder goals. Adding resistance is how athletes improve. But you don’t have to be a professional athlete to learn from them. Adding resistance bands to the 10 Minute Trainer program pushes your body to reach further in its fitness goals. If you are starting any exercise program and coming from a completely sedentary lifestyle, your body will change. Not being accustomed to moving around and being active, your muscles will respond to any exercise. Once you reach a certain level though, you will have to up the ante to keep that transformation in progress. Resistance bands will push you through any fitness plateaus. If you are entering the 10 Minute Trainer program as someone who already finds time to exercise, the resistance bands can challenge you further.
Tony Horton’s breakthrough Super Stacking Technique allows your entire body to get a thorough workout in 10 minutes. Rather than focusing on cardio, followed by a toning and sculpting session, this technique allows you to get it all done simultaneously. Further intensifying this body changing technique through the use of professional grade resistance bands will help you create the body you want in the time you can afford.
Like a professional athlete has to keep pushing their body to perform at higher and higher levels, you too must challenge your body to get the most out of your workouts. More effective than using the resistance provided by your own body weight, and much more convenient than a traditional set of weights, resistance bands are the challenge your body needs in a simple but high quality package.
