P90X: What to do after You complete the 90 Days

 

You’ve just finished P90X and you’ve never been so fit! You made the P90X a goal and now you’ve reached it. You completed an intense 90 day workout. You’re feeling great and you’re looking great. You don’t want any of this to end. But now you’re starting to wonder, what do I do next?  Where can I go from here? 

 

First of all, if you want to keep the level you have reached at the end of the P90X training, you will need to continue to make exercise and eating healthy a part of your daily life. If you don’t, you will start to lose the level of fitness you worked so hard to gain. That’s the thing about fitness—once you have reached a certain level you’re not just going to stay there forever. To stay where you are you have to keep up the same level of intensity. You have to keep burning off those calories and working those muscles.

 

If you liked some of the P90X routines better than others or if you just know that your body will continue to have some of the same problem areas, you can modify any of the workouts and continue to use them. If you’re creative, you may even be able to take some of the workouts and add some new moves and exercises of your own. If you continue to eat right as well, this should keep you pretty much at the pinnacle you’ve reached.
