The title says it all and for those people seeking to lose weight with the P90X program (or any other extreme fitness training program), increasing your calories is not likely what you want to do. However, some people who start the P90X program to lose a little fat and tone up may begin losing more than they are comfortable with. If you feel you are losing your too much of your curves or feel like you are looking skinny, slightly increasing your calories may be just what you need an high protein nutrition bars are a great way to do it.

As you soldier through the 90 day P90X challenge, you are building a lot of muscle. So much muscle that your metabolism will go through the roof. This is great for people who are using P90X as a weight loss plan but not so great for people who just want to tone up. If you like to look a little more solid and toned, you will want to be very conscious of the changes in your body. There’s a chance that you will want to increase your daily calories by just a few hundred to ensure you don’t lose too much too fast.

High protein nutrition bars are a great way to get those added calories without feeling too full at mealtime. Sure, adding a bit more chicken breast with your dinner or some extra tuna with your lunch works too, but those things might get a little old and high protein nutrition bars, like the P90X protein bars, can seem like a sweet treat.

Protein is the best way to increase your calories when going through an intense fitness program. Things like high protein nutrition bars contain the best balance of protein and carbohydrates to ensure your energy levels stay high while your body has plenty of fuel to maintain your new found muscle mass.

In the interest of serving our readers and helping people all over the country in reaching their fitness goals, we research what people are looking for online. Sometimes come across some pretty humorous Internet searches. The majority of the time, however, those things that are slightly humorous are, in all honesty, simple mistakes.

Many people are looking for “PX90 workout videos”. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know these people want to learn more about P90X. But, oftentimes their search won’t pull up the best sites for their interests. For that reason, I am writing this blog post to pull those folks in, helping them to land on what we happen to think is the best P90X site, or the best site for “PX90 workout videos”!

Nevermind the fact that there are only DVDs these days, those people searching out “PX90 workout videos” no doubt have good intentions. I mean, they are looking for one of the best possible workout systems currently in circulation.

PX90 workout videos and the system they promote are a total fitness training system for those people serious about getting fit. This is not a program for people who simply want a little activity. Let them go for a stroll around the block. PX90 workout videos involve seriously challenging work for those people who are seriously dedicated to making a complete body transformation.

Tony Horton developed this system to go above and beyond the typical home workout program. Although each of the P90X workouts would make a great every once in a while workout, used for cross training—that’s not the intention. These workouts were created to take your fitness to the next level.

So, for those of you looking at PX90 workout videos and those that came here in search of P90X workout DVDs, we’ve got you covered.

Many if not most people first hear about the P90X program through the notorious P90X infomercials. They’re on late at night, early in the morning, and throughout the week exclaiming the wonders of this program. Like every other infomercial ever put on the air, the claims can seem wildly good and appealing. And like with most others, you would be right to question if the P90X infomercial is legitimate. The answer: a resounding YES!

The P90X infomercial is like many other infomercials in that it takes marketing very seriously. I can still watch the same infomercial I saw several years ago from P90X and get excited about the program—it’s just that good. However, what makes the P90X infomercial stand out from others is its longevity.

How many infomercials do you know that have been on the air as long as the P90X infomercial? Not many. The reason this piece of advertising gold has been around for so long is because not only does the show get people excited about the program but it gets people excited about a program that works. Too often the actual product being marketed doesn’t live up to the hype on the infomercial. This simply isn’t the case with P90X.

The results you get at home can be comparable to the ones seen on the P90X infomercial—that’s part of what makes it so good. If you are willing to put in the work, you will get the results. The P90X infomercial uses real people who actually took part in the 90 day program. The infomercial shows their actual results as well.

The P90X infomercial is accurate and very real. The program works and the infomercial simply shows the results to back that up.

When shopping for the best workout system for your particular needs and goals, we encourage people to do their own research. No one knows what will work best for you except for you. While we can tell you that programs like P90X are for those people who want to put in work for major results and systems like 10 Minute Trainer are better for those with busy schedules that need a highly customizable plan, only you will be able to make that choice for yourself. If you are looking at P90X as a potential system, make sure you include P90X customer reviews with your research process.

There are countless P90X customer reviews online. Numerous people have actually started blogs dedicated specifically to tracking their progress with the P90X system. If this isn’t a review, than I don’t know what is. Being able to follow someone’s 90 day journey is like having a P90X customer review for every week of the program.

The vast majority of people who take the time to write P90X customer reviews are happy with the program. Like everything, however, there are those who were not satisfied. While reasons vary, we can confidently say that most of the people who don’t like P90X are those who weren’t prepared for the intensity or didn’t combine the workouts with the nutritional guidelines.

One thing you will find when looking over P90X customer reviews is that while people will admit the program is tough, those that stick with it are almost always pleased. This isn’t because P90X makes them feel good (thought it can do that), or because they like how Tony Horton looks in his workout gear (the workout team is pretty hot)—it’s simply because the program is effective. It’s made to work and to get you working.

Get your P90X customer reviews from a variety of sources and be certain to ask the people who post their reviews about their experience. Typically, bloggers will make themselves accessible to people curious about the program.

Throughout the P90X series, Tony Horton has several helpers in each of the workouts. They are all in various stages of super-fit and one in particular gets a lot of attention. Dreya Weber is known by many of us simply as the P90X girl. However, she has several other credits to her name worth mentioning. From gymnast to aerialist, actress, and fitness model, Dreya Weber may be known for her P90X appearances but she has been in the limelight for sometime.

Dreya Weber began in gymnastics around the age of 10. It was from here that her love of movement stemmed. She is now a professional aerialist, swinging and flying from trapezes to platforms suspended high above the ground. This demanding career choice requires Weber to be totally fit and P90X has offered her a different option in her day to day training.

In addition to athletics, Dreya Weber has appeared in several feature films including Everything Relative and The Gymnast. In addition, she made several guest appearances in the televisions series The Practice. She has performed with musicians Pink, Cher, and Britney Spears. Her long resume of diverse jobs shows she is much more than just that P90X girl.

However, once you have worked out with Dreya Weber in P90X, you will see that her athletic abilities make her a great person for Tony Horton to have picked for the series. You will repeatedly hear Horton mentioning Weber throughout the workouts and using her as an example of proper form. He even credits Dreya for introducing him to the Three Way Lunges.

Dreya Weber is just one of the professionals in P90X. During the P90X workouts you get the opportunity to see many variations on the workout moves. This makes it far easier to adjust the workouts to your needs and your fitness level.

For more information on Dreya Weber, check out her official website or the Wikipedia article on her.

Overtraining is defined by Wikipedia as a “physical, behavioral, and emotional condition that occurs when the volume and intensity of an individual’s exercise exceeds their recovery capacity. The term is defined differently depending on where you look, however. Overtraining basically amounts to is working harder than the body can keep up with. If your body can’t recover from workouts you will eventually hurt your progress or injure yourself. Because P90X is a tough workout program, we have heard that some are concerned if P90X and overtraining go hand in hand. The short answer: no.

Overtraining is much more than working out hard. Elite athletes workout consistently day in and day out and seldom, when trained properly, do they suffer from overtraining. The intensity of your workout doesn’t always increase your chances of overtraining. P90X and overtraining is not any more common than overtraining from running, in that regard.

The key to preventing overtraining in any fitness program is listening to your body and resting when appropriate. Every good training program should have easy days or rest days built in. P90X does this with occasional days off. For some people, believe it or not, rest days are punishment. For others, they are a blessing! When the P90X calendar tells you to take a day off, do it. The days off aren’t just to give you a chance to relax—they are there to prevent overtraining and injury.

Another way in which P90X prevents overtraining is through muscle confusion. If you were a weight lifter and did heavy squats day after day, you would likely overtrain your quads. They would stop responding to the workouts and possible even decline in health. You may even injure them more easily. By switching up the routines from day to day, P90X ensures maximum progress and minimal risk of overtraining.

Overtraining is possible with nearly any workout system. However, by sticking with your P90X calendar and recognizing when your body needs a break, you will find P90X and overtraining to be an extremely rare occurrence.

Have you ever done a workout you loved to hate? One that really pushed you to your edge and then pushed you some more? If you’ve ever done a workout that you hated for its intensity and simultaneously loved it for its results, then you know what to expect for the P90X Plyometrics workout. Some call it “The Beast” of the P90X program and they aren’t lying. This is a seriously intense workout that will demand a lot but turn around and deliver in a major way.

Plyometrics is a method of training that focuses on fast, reflexive movements. Bounding and jumping drills are good examples of plyo moves. The P90X Plyometrics workout pairs a high energy plyometrics workout with the intensity and hard work of P90X.

Plyometrics is known for increasing speed and reaction time. It is often used by basketball professionals because of its ability to also increase height in jump drills. Because of its unusual approach, the P90X Plyometrics is a perfect addition in keeping with the “muscle confusion” theme.

The best way to prepare for the Beast is to get some stable shoes and a good surface. Because you will spend a lot of time jumping in the P90X Plyometrics workout, a stable landing surface is crucial. If your floor is slippery in anyway, or if you would rather be safe than sorry, take a look at the Manduka Mat we carry. Especially designed for the P90X Plyometrics and Yoga X workouts, this mat is a great tool to have in your home fitness collection.

We all have those workouts we love to hate. If you don’t, you just might find it with P90X Plyometrics. Maximum effort equals maximum results with this program and the Plyo workout is a prime example.

When it comes to extreme home fitness programs, not everyone is ready. A lot can be said for determination and motivation—they are great concepts for increasing your success. However, if your body simply isn’t up to something like P90X, you could be discouraged or even injured by pushing yourself too hard. That’s why P90X, and other programs like it, come with a test. The P90X Fit Test is simply a safety measure to ensure you are ready to “Bring It”!

The P90X Fit Test is made up of some basic measurements and physical aptitude testing. You will measure your body fat percentage and your resting heart rate. These numbers are great indicators of your overall health. Once you have these measurements out of the way, the fitness test will see just how ready your muscles are for some of the work you will encounter in the program.

Depending on your level of fitness, the P90X Fit Test could qualify as your daily workout. However, if you are accustomed to working out on a regular basis, this could be done on a rest day or as part of your warm up.

While some of the workout moves you do in the P90X Fit Test are similar to what you will be doing in the P90X workouts—don’t think this is as hard as it gets. The P90X fitness test is simply a measurement of your current fitness level, it is not intended to be an extreme workout in itself.

You will find the P90X Fit test will test you on things like pushups, chin-ups, squats, and bicep curls, just to name a few. For instance, you will be asked to do bicep curls until you reach muscle failure, simply to get an accurate assessment of the abilities of that muscle group. After each stage of the test, the P90X fitness guide will tell you what is expected as a “P90X minimum”.

Don’t be nervous when it comes time to take the P90X Fit Test. Look at it as a great way to track your progress. Retaking the fitness test at the 30 and 60 day marks can be a great motivator. If you find you aren’t quite ready for the intensity of P90X, consider Power 90 to get you started.

How much does P90X cost and can I find it anywhere cheaper is one question I hear an awful lot of. You can find P90X many places on the web but that doesn’t mean you will get all of the products that should come with it. You should go to an official website of any authorized retailer of P90X to see what should come with the workout DVD’s and the total cost before you start comparing.

If you go to this official site http://www.extremebodyworkout.com/p90x-products/p90x.php you can see that you should receive twelve workout DVD’s and a thirteenth that gives you an overview of the program, along with a nutrition guide and a fitness guide. So how much does P90X cost – $119.85!

Now I have gone to different sites and seen P90X for sale, and more cheaply on many of them. However, one of the biggest complaints that customer service gets is that someone ordered from Amazon or another site and purchased P90X more reasonably but all they received was the P90X DVD’s and none of the guides or informational paperwork that you should receive before you get started on such an intense program. These guides and information help you get the maximum results from this program and without them you don’t even know which workout to do on what day or any kind of nutritional help.

So before purchasing P90X, do your homework. How much does P90X cost is a relative question depending on what you want to receive with your order and if you want to get the maximum results from your workouts. So make sure you get your moneys worth.

Not everyone’s main fitness goal is to trim down. For many people, getting bigger is their ultimate goal. People wondering how to bulk up often have a high metabolism, something those of us who struggle with weight can only wish for. People with a high muscle mass and low body fat often blast through calories at an amazing rate. When your metabolism is higher, putting on weight and even maintaining the weight you have can be difficult. These people often end up having to take in calories that would mean diet failure for the rest of us. It just goes to show how drastically different each person’s physiological makeup is.

Weight maintenance is often said to be as simple as calories in/ calories out. Sometimes it is this simple. In most cases, however, it is far more complicated. When curious how to bulk up, you want to ensure you are not just gaining weight but that you are gaining the right kind of weight. Fat, though sometimes easier to gain, is not the right kind.

The key to building muscle is proper nutrition and weight training. In order to put on pounds of mass you will need to work hard, whether at the gym or at home with a muscle building workout like P90X.

Something to keep in mind, however, is that as you put on muscle, your metabolism will climb even higher. This happens because muscle requires more fuel to survive than fat does. It is a common problem among naturally slim people who want to know how to bulk up. So, as you build the muscle you must also increase the amount you are feeding them.

While things like pizza and fried foods are high in calories, muscles don’t just need calories. Protein plays a huge role in bulking up. Our muscles rely on protein for building and repairing. When you are having to dramatically increase your calories to maintain the weight you have, let alone adding weight, things like high quality whey protein shakes and protein bars can be a huge asset.

Simply put: when wondering how to bulk up, increase weight training and the consumption of healthy muscle fuel. High quality protein, along with other healthy foods will feed the muscles you are building in a way that other calories can’t.

P90X is a revolutionary program. Although the system has been in circulation for several years now, it maintains its ranking of one of the best selling fitness programs currently available. One of the reasons for the success of the P90X program is its incredible results. The fact is: when you give this program your all, you are handsomely rewarded with amazing P90X results. Just going through the motions will get you results. However, the key to maximizing your P90X results is “bringing it”!

The P90X workout system is so extreme and so effective that you will get results even by just going through the motions. Who wants mediocre results though? This program has the ability to take your body to a whole new level. You know that ideal body you have in mind? More than likely it’s closer than you think with the P90X results. You can’t just shuffle your way through the workouts; you have to come with enthusiasm.

Throughout the P90X program you will hear Tony Horton shouting at you to “Bring It!” He knows there are two groups of people at home working out with him–those who are just “getting through” the workouts and those really trying to get the most out of the workouts. Pushing yourself to your breaking point isn’t easy, but major P90X results don’t come easy.

Maximizing your P90X results begins with putting forth maximum effort. This doesn’t only apply to the workouts, but to the nutrition as well. Working out like crazy won’t do a thing if you are eating junk at every chance. Follow the workout plan and also follow the P90X Nutrition Guide. If you really want to get the best results, consider the P90X Peak Recovery Formula for after your workouts. This drink gives your body the perfect blend of nutrients for maximum muscle recovery.

P90X will get you amazing results. You will get what you put into each workout, however. Give each workout everything you’ve got and you will be rewarded many times over!

Don’t let the term confuse you, muscle confusion is really quite simple. It is used in some of the most effective training programs and is even used by professionals in the fitness industry. Highlighted in the P90X program by Tony Horton, muscle confusion is one way to ensure you get the most out of the time you spend working out. And when you don’t have all day, making the most of your workouts is crucial.

Muscle confusion refers to variety in your fitness routines. The term simply means keeping your muscles “on their toes”, so to speak, encouraging the most profound results by mixing things up on a consistent basis.

One of the best examples of muscle confusion is the P90X workout system. There is no other home workout program that dedicates so much to keeping the training interesting. While this does keep motivation high, the real reason for such variety is muscle confusion. When you vary your workouts in type, intensity, and approach, you see bigger results.

Would you see results if you did the same weight training workout day in and day out?

Sure, you would see results. But, the fact is, you will see bigger results if you change that routine on a continual basis.

When your muscles become accustomed to a single workout, they stop responding at such a high level. When you do such a variety of workouts that you only see the same workout once a week or every two weeks, your muscles don’t have time to “get used to” the program. If you’ve ever started a new workout program, you likely noticed the biggest results in the beginning. With programs like P90X you see major results all the way through!

Making purchases online provides the best opportunity for saving money and comparison shopping. You can browse from retailer to retailer and see the same items offered at completely different price points. Occasionally you will find what you are looking for on sale through one retailer or packaged with a free gift from another. For this reason, we completely understand people who want to find a P90X coupon. While there are no legitimate P90X coupons currently, we do have one Special Package you may be interested in.

In an effort to deliver the best products to our customers we have designed our P90X Special Package. This package includes all of those things that we recommend for the P90X customer. Rather than just suggesting the products, we have bundled them with the P90X workout system and slashed the price. Consider this your $30 P90X coupon!

While you don’t have to buy anything with your P90X system, there are a few things that we highly recommend you start with. Those include the P90X Chin Up Bar, the P90X Resistance Bands, and the P90X Recovery Formula. To purchase the workout program and all of these suggested products separately would add up to about $269.95. However, with what we are calling our P90X coupon, our Special Package comes to you for $239.95, a savings of $30.

For some people, justifying an added expense on top of the P90X workout is difficult. For you I offer this question: Is your health, your confidence, and your quality of life worth the extra money? Chances are you can see that this equipment is some high quality stuff. We aren’t pushing totally unnecessary products on our customers, we are offering them the very best tools to take their P90X results even higher.

You won’t find a P90X coupon online. But you can get the P90X Special Package at a discounted rate. Check it out and feel free to contact us with any questions!

Strong legs are a great asset. Not only do they look good in shorts or a skirt, they can dramatically improve your athletic performance. Thigh exercises are those that work the major muscles of the legs, including the hamstrings and the quadriceps. Many thigh exercises simultaneously work the calves and the glutes too, making them great lower body work. Whether you are looking to add a “leg day” to your workout schedule or simply want a few moves that focus on the gams, I have some great thigh exercises for you.

The #1 of all thigh exercise, in my opinion, is the lunge. Some people prefer to step forward into a lunge, while others step back. Some even prefer the “walking lunge”. When you find the lunge that suits you best, start out with 3 sets of 15. As those get easier add more or consider holding weights.

Another great one in the world of thigh exercises is the squat. This is an excellent way to firm up the muscles in your thighs as well as your hips and butt. There are many approaches to squats but remember the safest ones don’t allow your knees to go out past your toes when looking down. Sit back into a squat, keeping your upper body as straight as possible for maximum benefits. When straight squats get too easy, add some hand weights.

P90X includes several great options when it comes to lower body work and thigh exercises. The “Legs & Back” DVD offers a great way to firm up the lower half. Tony Horton will walk you through an extreme lower body workout with this one and include the back muscles for some variety and a much needed break.

On the cardio end of things, the Kenpo X DVD provides a different approach to thigh exercises. With all of the kicking and solid stances in this workout, you will definitely have a high energy alternative to the typical thigh exercises.

When working your thighs make certain to keep it safe. Sore muscles are a sign you are making progress. Pain, however, is a sign that you are injured. There’s nothing quite like the soreness after a good thigh workout though to keep you coming back for more.

It is popular and highly effective. Its effectiveness is no doubt part of the reason that it has become so popular. People all over the world are seeing major results with the P90X program and talking about it all over the web. Just like any workout program, however, some people have P90X problems. Whether it involves changing the workouts to nurse an injury or having questions about the nutrition plans, we can help.

The first thing we recommend when someone is experiencing P90X problems is that they thoroughly read their Fitness Guide and their Nutrition Guide. All of the answers to P90X questions can be found in these volumes. If the P90X problem you are having is simply due to not receiving your Nutrition Guide or Fitness Guide with your purchase, we may still be able to help.

If you purchased P90X here at ExtremeBody Workout and something was missing with your order, contact customer service immediately for assistance. Have your order number ready so that we can be of the most help.

If your P90X problems are somehow related to your health and/or customizing the workout to work around an injury in some way, you should first consult your physician. P90X is a tough workout system and we wouldn’t want anyone doing it against their doctor’s recommendations. Aside from that, play it safe. If you are injured and uncertain if P90X is right for you, take time to recover before diving in. Working out too early after an injury can cause long lasting problems.

There aren’t many issues that we foresee people having with the P90X program. It was developed by professionals and has been tested again and again by people around the world with intense fitness goals. If, however, you have any questions about the system, get in touch with us and we will do everything we can to help you out.
