The ChaLEAN Extreme Calendar Basics
The ChaLEAN Extreme program is separated into three different phases. These phases are:
- Burn
- Push
- Lean
And it’s in using these three different phases that you’ll discover your body gaining the most ground. When you look at the ChaLEAN Extreme calendar that came with your program, you’ll find it too is separated into these three phases, each one month long, with a bonus month called the “Lean for Life” phase.
The Weekly Workouts
In each week of the ChaLEAN Extreme calendar, you’ll do 5 days of fitness and 2 days of rest. The rest days are important as they give your body a chance to recuperate, to repair muscle tissue, and to maximize results. The workouts you do will depend on what phase you are in. A typical Burn Phase week might look like this:
- Sunday- Burn Circuit 1
- Monday- Rest
- Tuesday- Burn Circuit 2
- Wednesday- Burn Intervals & Ab Burner
- Thursday- Burn Circuit 3
- Friday- Burn it Off & Recharge
- Saturday- Rest
