P90X2 Dumbbells verse Resistance Bands Although resistance bands have been around for some time and they sell quite well, some people just don’t seem to make the change. I think the thing that holds them back is the belief that these unassuming bands could in no way provide a really good strength training workout. But, if that is the case, and this is the reason for their staying away from the bands, it’s time we set the record straight. Sure, a full set of dumbbells is nice. But, you can get a highly effective strength training workout with the P90X2 resistance bands, and you don’t have to worry about lugging them around!

Highly Portable!

When it comes to most things in life, we want to take the easiest route possible. We avoid traffic; we buy things pre-assembled, and we buy things called “convenience” foods. Sure, your workouts shouldn’t live up to this standard, but your workout equipment should not be complicated. The P90X2 resistance bands are about as simple as it gets. When you are done with a workout, you can easily toss them in a basket, a closet, or shove them under your bed. You don’t have to worry about stubbing your toe on them either. Take them on the road or leave one in your desk drawer at work—they fit practically anywhere.

They’re Budget Friendly

A full set of weights can cost upwards of five hundred dollars, depending on the brand you get. A full set of P90X2 resistance bands will cost about $100. You can even make do with a three-band set for around $40. But even if you have the money to blow on the biggest and best set of weights, it wouldn’t hurt to have a set of resistance bands around for when you take a trip or want to switch things up.

Used by Tony Horton

This isn’t a scenario where the spokesperson tells you how great a product is and then goes home to use something completely different. The P90X2 resistance bands are used by Tony Horton. Throughout the P90X2 workouts you’ll see Tony and the rest of his crew switch between resistance bands and other alternate equipment. They aren’t just doing this to sell resistance bands; they are doing it because they work.

Here at Extreme Body Workout, we offer several sets of resistance bands for you to choose from:
