Food is a very important part of our lives. Well, it’s a little more than important—it’s mandatory. If you are a human with no interest in food, you likely won’t be around for long. Needless to say, the nutrition plan on P90X2 garners a lot of interest. People who may be interested in the workouts wonder what the “diet” will require of them, whether or not they’ll be able to maintain it, and whether they might actually enjoy it. Well, the good news is that P90X2 meals and the nutrition plan in general is more flexible than ever and offers numerous tasty options to make the lifestyle changes easier than you might anticipate.

P90X2 Meals: New and Different

You won’t find the same meals here as you did with the P90X plan, in part because there are no “meal plans” in this program. For many people, this dose of freedom is what separates this nutrition plan apart from other, highly-structured and difficult to follow options. You eat what you like, within reason. If it’s on the food list included within the pages of the Nutrition Guide, it’s approved!

Making Your Own P90X2 Meals

As I said, if you find it on the food list, it’s yours to use. This means you can create your own favorite P90X2 meals. Make sure to adhere to the suggested portion sizes and to stay within your level, but have some fun. Fitness and nutrition plans are only effective when you are able to stick with them. The idea behind having such flexibility with this program is that you will stick with the things you’ve learned for life. When you see eating right as a chore, you will do it begrudgingly. But, when you like the things you are eating, it’s a totally different ballgame.
