Picking up a new habit requires dedication and commitment. When that new habit involves a fitness program like P90X, it also requires hard work. Take a look at your current daily schedule. What things are negotiable? What things do you see as being slightly less important than getting in shape? Perhaps you can stop watching an hour of television each night or get up an hour earlier in the morning. Changing an old habit can be difficult as it’s likely something you’ve become comfortable with. But when you analyze your fitness goals, your P90X workouts are likely to be more important than any primetime sitcom.
The P90X workouts have the potential to change your life. You could walk away at the end of 90 days not only looking better with less fat and better muscle tone, but feeling better with a higher confidence and greater general health. When it’s time to make time for these workouts, you need to ask yourself what’s most important and then reprioritize things to reflect that.
