When trying to lose weight, goals are important. With a goal, you have something to work towards. Working out and dieting without a concrete goal is like driving without a destination, sure it can be fun but you’re not likely to do it often. You want your fitness training program to get you from point A to point B and setting a goal like getting slim in 6 weeks is a great place to start.
Getting slim in 6 weeks is a pretty relative goal. What I consider “slim” may not be the same to you. So if you are going to use this as a fitness goal, you need to define “slim”. Making your goal a realistic one is crucial. If your goal is unattainable in 6 weeks you will be left feeling discouraged and unmotivated to try again. Too easy and you won’t maximize your potential. Take some time and really examine what the perfect goal is for you.
More than likely you came up with getting slim in 6 weeks because of the Slim In 6 program. Like most fitness programs you are wondering if Slim In 6 can really work. The answer is yes. Any high quality fitness training program can work if you are willing to put in the time and effort. The easy thing about this program is it gives you a concrete timetable.
Committing to a 6 week training program is relatively easy. Six weeks is just a little over one month. When you make the decision to use the Slim In 6 plan, don’t worry too much about what will happen on week 7 because if you’re doing the program correctly, you will be ready to take on a new challenge or potentially do another 6 week session of this one.

My question is I am a 67 year old woman in good health – still working as a real estate broker. I am active, attractive (I am told) and always working on keeping my weight down. Years ago the Weight Watchers always worked -about 10 years ago I lost a ton of weight on the Atkins diet. Nothing seems to be working anymore. Some have said for women over 60 it is a lost cause. I don’t want to accept that. I am 5’4″ and right now i am aboout 147. I would like to be about 130 – 135 Can this work for me. I hqve never been great at workouts but I am willing to try.
Hello Carol,
I don’t think you’re a lost cause! I think as you get older, your body gets used to things, even diets. If you started and stuck to a good workout program like Slim In 6, you body might be surprised and you might start to see a change. Slim in 6 also allows you to progress at your own pace, so this program is great for those who may not be that fit to begin with.

Hi. Similar to Carol (above), I am a 54 year old female that needs to lose about 20 lbs. I, too, always used the Weight Watcher approach when needing to lose a little weight. I have never needed to lose 20 lbs before and always, always had exercised along with doing the Weight watchers. I have tried for almost 2 years to lose this weight to no avail. I am so frustrated. I absolutely do not eat what other people eat or as much as almost anyone I know. It’s like I’m stuck. I do not have work-out equipment at home and I cannot afford to join a gym. Knowing this, is this a program that I could do?
Hello Cathy,
Slim in 6 would be a good start. You can start out at a pace that you are comfortable with and work your way up. Slim in 6 comes with everything you need to successfully complete the program. You might just need a little change in routine. Keep eating well!

I am 49 years old and am very, very unhappy with myself. This is the most I have weighed and I hate it. I feel and look miserable. I honestly have not really tried to lose weight in a long, long time. I am beginning to have physical problems due to my weight. Is there help for me? I feel unmotivated. I want to change but right now am not moviated to do so. I desperately need and want a change. I am willing to do anything. Is there a chance for me?
Hello Veronica,
it’s can be really hard to motivate yourself to start an exercise program. Keep reading reviews and blogs online. This will give you some motivation to start. Once you do start, keep going back online to those blogs and talk to others about your workout and ask questions. This will help keep you going. Slim in 6 is a good choice for those who haven’t exercised seriously in a while.

I just ordered the slim in 6. I am 44 years old. Like all the other women here, I weigh more now then I have in15 years. Prescription diet pills dont even work anymore. Hopefully this exercise program will help me, I am miserable with my body, I hate to look in the mirror. I will report back my results in 6 weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hello Luz,
depending on the shape you are in when you start, it could take a couple of weeks to see visible results.
