What Does It Take To Get P90X Success?

p90x_plus_tonyWe’ve all seen the P90X infomercials. That may be what brought you to Extreme Body Workout. Those late night shows reveal some of the greatest P90X transformations ever. They show people just what kind of progress is possible with the P90X workout system. Many people start P90X wanting those same dramatic results and those who are completely dedicated to P90X success often see them.

 

P90X success means different things to different people. You may enter the program 25 pounds overweight and want to see the pounds drop off over the next 90 days. I may, on the other hand, simply want to tone up what I have and put on some muscle. What I am saying here is don’t let someone else’s concept of success make yours any less important. Your goals will dictate exactly how you define success when it comes to the P90X program.

 

Having the dedication to workout on days when you are sore and the sheer will to keep going when the last thing you want to do is workout are good indications of P90X success. Your level of dedication must be greater than your negative self talk. That little lazy-person voice inside of you that talks you out of doing things is the one we are trying to outdo here. That voice will always be there but as you work through the 90 day program, it will become quieter and quieter.

 

Breaking your P90X successes into weekly accomplishments can be a great way to keep motivation high. Try rewarding yourself with some new workout gear at the end of each 30 day mark for added incentive.

 

P90X success is about far more than reduced body fat and toned muscles, let’s just get that straight. Arguably one of the greatest rewards of finishing the 90 days of grueling workouts is just that: finishing! As you go through the 90 day period there will be, no doubt, some days you feel like you can’t go on. When that 90th day is reached, however, the sense of achievement you will feel is overwhelming. And that, is true P90X success.
