The variety of workouts with the P90X system is one of the great things about it. Not only do you not get bored, but you are constantly challenging your body in new and different ways. For many people, Yoga X is the first time they have ever attempted anything like yoga. This P90X yoga video can be a serious wake up call to that vast majority of people who have only thought of deep breathing and stretching when they heard the word “yoga”.
There are many different types of yoga. While some simply offer deep breathing and meditation, others will work your body in ways you didn’t know possible. While the P90X yoga video can provide good deep breathing techniques, it certainly falls into that category of being a truly challenging workout.
Misconceptions about yoga lead many people to dismiss it as a high quality workout. Those people are missing out on a program that offers great flexibility benefits and a seriously tough workout that can build stability and great muscle tone. The P90X yoga video can deliver a workout that will rival many gym workouts and put muscle-bound lugs face down in a puddle of sweat.
Yoga X isn’t high impact. It doesn’t involve any weights or heavy duty equipment. It moves quite slowly. Hard to believe something with these characteristics would provide you with a surprisingly hard workout, but it’s true. The P90X yoga video is an excellent addition to the program and shouldn’t be overlooked.
Some people are so frightened of what Yoga X entails, they skip it on the P90X workout calendar. While I simply don’t understand this, there is nothing I can do about it except to encourage those of you reading this to give it a shot. The P90X yoga video will deliver results that you didn’t realize were possible in a yoga workout. Give it a chance. It was included in the program for a reason, so use it!

I’ve never done “serious” Yoga before starting the P90X program, and do admit that it IS an intense workout. It sneaks up on you! I decided to stay committed to doing the P90X program in the order it is presented, including the “ones I don’t like”…and I have received incredible rewards because of it. There IS a reason they have included Yoga X. I’m not only improving my balance (which I really have next to none in the first place), I’m experiencing things I’ve never experienced before. Stamina, focus, flexibility (I can touch my toes for the first time in my life!), muscle tone, and the simple pleasure of accomplishment. Everytime Yoga X is up next in my weekly program, I find I can do more and more of the moves I originally thought impossible for me.
Just remember, if you don’t try, you’ll never know what you CAN DO!!! So, bring it!
