Hey I'm in the 2nd week of training block 2. I am still at the same weight that I was when I started. I have seen results in my performance but no weight change. I know I may be building muscle so the scale may not be the way to go, but I just thought I'd be losing maybe a few pounds atleast. I work graveyards so my eating schedule and sleep schedule is different than normal. I've been trying to follow the nutrition plan as well. Any help? Thoughts?

Hi, started P90x a week ago. Got de-railed on day 5 when I did legs and Back and then went to soccer practice for my Over 30 team and strained my left Quad. It has been 72 hours and the leg feels better. still a little soreness and stiffnes, but not bad. When would you recommend I start up my workouts again? I think I actually want to start week one over again. Thoughts?

I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian and I just purchased the P90X. Any suggestions for modifying the diet to my specific dietary needs? I don't eat any meat, fish, poultry, etc..

Thanks!

I live in Taiwan so it's not easy to follow the nutrition plan. Also, we don't get all the vegetables you have in the US...and vice versa. I do love my veggies and fruit. Plus most imported food is expensive here. Local food is much cheaper. Any ideas?

Hi Michael,

If you can stick to the workout schedule, and follow the nutrition plan, the P90X can help you to loose weight and tone up. The workouts will whip you into shape, no doubt, but the nutrition plan is specially designed to complement the workouts and maximize your fat burning ability.

If you are more concerned with loosing weight and aren't too interested in increasing you athletic ability, go for the lean approach. Otherwise, go with the classic approach. Both of these approaches are included with the P90X.

Hi Gena,

You can actually use the resistance bands along with the upgrade kit to do modified versions of the exercises. Here is a link for further info on the bands and the kit:

I had the privilege of having a brief conversation with Tony while in Burbank one week ago today. He encouraged me to visit the P90X website and I did. Come to find out, it was him (he did not reveal who he was at the time). Doing this home workout seems practical for limited living space, where workout equipment would take up too much room.

Question: Is the chin up bar absolutely necessary? For a condo rental, I don't believe that installing one would be permissible.
