P90X Protein Supplements: A Great Source of Nutrition on the Go
P90X is more than just a workout system; it is also a unique eating plan. The P90X Nutrition Guide highlights just what you should be eating while on the program. One interesting characteristic about the plan is the amount of protein you will eat while on it. For many people, this much protein can be difficult to adjust to. With P90X protein supplements, the adjustment is made much easier.
Protein is a nutrient necessary for life. It is responsible for so many things within the body; we can’t list them all here. One of the more important functions, however, is the building and repairing of tissue. Why is this important to you? Well, when following the P90X calendar or any other strenuous workout program you are working on building serious muscle. P90X protein supplements are a great way to ensure your body has the optimal fuel for those goals.
When doing a strenuous workout, tiny tears are created in the muscle tissue. These tears are the breeding ground for bigger muscles. See, in an effort to repair those tears, your body mends the muscle, fortifying it in the process. This mending, facilitated by muscle growth, leads to muscle and strength growth.
P90X protein supplements were created to give people participating in the P90X program a few simple ways to get extra protein. Because of the modern adult’s busy schedule, simple solutions like the P90X protein supplements are highly successful and under serious demand.
If you are looking for a supplement for your P90X transformation or want a protein supplement to go with any other workout program, the P90X protein supplements are an excellent choice. Protein bars provide an easy snack or meal option on the go. The P90X Whey Protein Powder is a nutritious and tasty way to get that extra protein in throughout the day.

Hi,
I live in Canada and I am looking at buying the P90X program through this website. While searching through the web pages I’ve noticed that the following supplements are not able to be purchased off this webpage and sent to Canada:
> Meal Replacement Shake (Van)
> Meal Replacement Shake (Choc)
> Whey Protein Powder (Van)
> Whey Protein Powder (Choc)
Are there Equivalent Brands I can purchase up here or are there Canadian suppliers of the brands you are selling? Why can’t you ship them to Canada when you can ship all the other items?

Hi Scott,
Due to certain border laws, we cannot ship certain supplements to Canada. Take a look at the ingredients for these supplements at the following link. Just click on the item you would like to see.

I am sure you can find something comparable in your area. Just check out your local health food/supplement shop to see what they have to offer.

I have a question regarding the protein bars (P90X or others) and other sources of carbohydrates. I just started the workouts yesterday, but I started the Phase 1 portion plan a few days before to get myself ready.
As the phase only allows 1 serving f carbohydrate (15g?) then when reading the labels almost everything has a carb. serving. For example, orange juice (26g), a protein bar (36g), etc…
I’m also having a hard time eating as many calories as I’m suppose to. Currently I’m at 224 and accordingly should be eating around 2400 calories?? Over the past few days I have managed to eat about 1450…significantly less.
How should I record, count, or adjust the meals accordingly?
I also need to cook fruit/veg as I have an allergy to them if they are not picked immediately (therefore no fresh squeezed juices for me). Does this present any issues?
After just a few days already feel great, motivated, and excited.
Thanks,
Dom
Hi Dominic,
A food is place in a specific category because it has a significant amount of that nutritional element. Of course there is many foods that contain all of these elements, but may only be a good source of one or two. Trust the guide. If you really can’t finish all of your meals, at least attempt to. As you progress through the workouts, they will get more intense and you will need more and more energy from food.
As far as your allergy goes, do what you have to! Cooking does slightly alter fruits’s nutritional values, but you can’t put your health in danger. Cooked vegetables are on the approved foods list. 1 cup equals 1 serving.
I’m glad your feeling great! Keep it up!
