I beg to differ with you. In my opinion an ultimate anything would best everything that it list as a feature and it competitors list as well. Where I would agree with 90% of what is written about the P90X, there is the issue of door fit. In particular the door width. “Fits doorways up to 24″ – 32″”
The apartment I live in was built in 1939 not very old. Each door way has either a peak on top, and/or the frame width is 41” including the frame. An average width for doorways in apts. and bungalows in Chicago built in that time period. I’ve learned that the Creative Fitness Door Gym has extensions that will make up the difference, but they’re not calling it the “Ultimate Pull Up Bar” and yes the P90X has better steel. Fine for my over 200 lbs.
Now if there is a way I could get the P9OX to fit 1 of the 2 doorways where it would work, that are just 9” too wide. It would then be the “Ultimate Pull Up Bar”.
