		<description>Hello Kathy,

First you would put the chin-up bar together, then install the brackets.  These would be placed above and resting on the top of the doorframe on the inside of the door (opposite of where the bar would stick out).    Holding the bar as if you were using it, push the anchor bar through the doorway and lift it above the brackets.  Pull the bar into place.  The handle bars should all be on the opposite side of the doorway than the anchor bar and brackets.  The bar rests in the top of your doorway.
