The P90X Pull Up Bar Can Help You Bring It

p90x-chin-up-bar-i6Once you open your P90X and watch the first DVD, it is obvious you do not need the P90X pull up bar. Just because you don’t need it, doesn’t make it any less worthwhile to own, however. When you are looking for maximum results from your P90X workout, a pullup bar can help you achieve those results.

The P90X pull up bar mounts in nearly any doorway in your home and provides an excellent way for you to take your shoulder, chest, and back work to the next level. There are several DVD’s in the P90X system that will have you using the pull up bar and having one in your collection of home workout equipment will only help you get the most out of your workouts.

True, you can actually get an excellent workout with similar results from resistance bands. Having said that, there truly is nothing quite as rewarding as working against your own body weight, as you do with the P90X pull up bar.

This piece of high quality equipment allows for several different grip positions, something you just don’t get with other pullup bars on the market. The P90X pull up bar is made with the same care and attention to detail that went into making the entire P90X system.

The P90X pull up bar is made to withstand up to 300 pounds. This means that the vast majority of people doing the P90X system will be fine with this versatile and durable piece of equipment. Pair that with the heavy gauge steel and pro-grade foam grips and you have what is possibly the most durable pull up bar on the market today.

You don’t need the P90X pull up bar to complete the P90X program with dramatic results. Having the pull up bar, however, will definitely make a difference in your back and chest work.

How does the P90X pull up bar mount in the doorway

  2. Staff

    Hello Kathy,

First you would put the chin-up bar together, then install the brackets. These would be placed above and resting on the top of the doorframe on the inside of the door (opposite of where the bar would stick out). Holding the bar as if you were using it, push the anchor bar through the doorway and lift it above the brackets. Pull the bar into place. The handle bars should all be on the opposite side of the doorway than the anchor bar and brackets. The bar rests in the top of your doorway.
