You are right about PX90 it is a monster for someone that is already in shape, just imagine if your not. If you have never worked out before you would have to stay consistent and motivated with the program, and if you do it would be well worth it.

Hello Pru,

The best way to approach this situation is to bring the Portions Approach Food List (for each phase) to your dining hall manager, so that he can get the proper foods needed for the diet. Next, and this is going to be the hardest part, is to educate everyone that eats in this dining hall to know what "their" portion approach should be so that they are getting the right calories into their diet. The right food is pointless, if you are eating too much of it. So education will be key at this point.

You have a very large task in front of you, if you are truly going to change the eating habits of a whole dining hall. I am a firm believer though, if you put your mind to it, you can do anything.

Good luck!

I work shift work with 4 days on 4 days off, 4 nights on 4 off. I stay in an accommodation camp that provides meals already (a lot to be desired). I have just purchased this programme and very keen to begin. Do you have any suggestions how I can approach the dining hall manager to incorporate the P90X nutrition plan to his meal plan so I can benefit from eating the right meals BEFORE I start.

Thanks,
Pru.
