Hi Meg,

Thanks so much for taking the time to comment on your experience with P90X. You've touched upon several areas people are concerned about.

We hear from users all day long. Many times they say that they aren't "loosing weight", when in actuality they are! Now, the scale may not be saying so, but their body fat % is dropping and they just don't know because they aren't using a body fat tester. You have to take a step back and consider what "losing weight" really means to you. If you mean fat then you have to realize that the scale weighs anything on top of it—fat AND muscle!

Thanks so much for contributing to our blog, your words are very helpful to the community of readers we have here!

This is such a well-written piece on P90X. P90X is not just about weight loss....

I first approached P90X with a lot of suspicion. I am a 40 year old female and previously had worked out in a gym. Prior to P90X, I was pretty thin and basically had no muscle tone and definition.

After trying out P90X, I started to notice I have beautiful eye-catching muscle tones on my arms, shoulders, abs and legs. Granted, I have put on a few pounds (probably around 5lbs), but I know I look so much better and healthier. However, This is not the only benefit I have gotten from P90X.

I am a CPA and keep a very busy work schedule. The daily stress, prior to P90X days, had contributed to my high blood pressure problem. After committing myself to P90X exercise routine (I find time in the morning), I notice I can start my day with a calmer mind set.

I am still on the thin side, and no, P90X does not make me look hugely bulky as I know some women are afraid of. I love the results I am getting and believe that P90X is the best exercise regimen offered in the market right now. I love the variety and the concept of stretching, flexibility, weight training, and cardio offered by P90X.

I hope that there will be more similiar programs offered by Beach Body like P90X in the near future.
