Hello Casey,

if you can fit P90X into your schedule, you should definitely do it for at least 90 days. How much weight always depends on the persons weight when the program is started (heavier=more dramatic weight loss), your diet and how you approach the workouts. If you are just going through the motions, you will not be so successful.

After 90 days, you can do the maintenance program if you are happy with your results, or if you wish to improve more, you can go for a second round.

The bare minimum you will need in terms of equipment would be the resistance bands with the upgrade door attachment kit and the yoga mat. You can also use dumbbells and a chin-up bar. If you can do chin-ups and want to get this piece of equipment, I think it makes a huge difference in results. Some other handy but not necessary pieces of equipment would be yoga block, a body fat tester and push-up stands. The recovery formula is also a great product to help boost your results.

Hello Chris,

if you are completely out of shape, this program may be difficult, but if you are really determined you can alway start out slower and work you way up to speed. Your results may differ slightly, but you will definitely improve your fitness.

Hello Micha,

this program is definitely high impact, but you can modify the moves to lessen the impact. Tony will even give you some examples on how you can do that during the workouts.

I have never done any type of fitness program before. I worked out on my own at the gym and went from 250 to 230 and now im stuck. Im 16 so i have to worry about school also. I am asking to get p90x for christmas. I am 5'11". Can p90x get me down to maybe 170 pounds, and i have had people tell me i have to wake up at 4:00 in order to do the workouts and still go to school. What do i do after the 90 days, do i just start the program all over again and do i need to buy any equipment with the dvd's.

I'm interested in the workout program, however, I'm concerned that it may be too strenuous for me. I'm 40, unfit, and have back and shoulder issues. Are the routines designed to be modified for injuries and/or fitness levels?
Thanks,
Micha

Hello Mary,

Im sorry for your lost. Being a mother of 3 myself, this will be the perfect time to start a work out plan. This will give you an opportunity to have some "YOU" time and at the same time gain the desired results you want to have in the end. The P90X is not only a workout program but it also help guide you every step of the way, with a nutrition guide, fitness guide and workout calendar. So there aren't any guessing games. You also have our customer service available to you Mon- Fri 9-5 if you have any questions.

Enjoy Your Workout! :0)

Hello Mike,

That is a great question! The morning is the best time to burn extra fat off of the body. So a good idea would be to just eat a protein bar before the work out. That should give you enough energy to get you through the work out.
