Hi Heather,
P90X does work on your muscles a little more. Turbo Jam is more of a cardio based program. You don’t have to change your plans for Turbo Jam, maybe just add some resistance on the side to keep the muscle you’ve gained.

Hello,
I was wondering, I have been going to the gym for awhile now and running on the treadmill. I have lost quite a lot of weight. I went from 169 to 151. I am 5’6 and I want to become at least 130lbs by mid or end of July. I was wondering would Turbo Jam help me lose weight. I need it more around thighs, butt and stomach area. I don’t just want to lose those 20lbs but I also want to get toned, look lean and better. Would you really recommend this?

Turbo Jam is great for toning because you are moving your whole entire body in every which direction. You will be using all of your muscles. Plus it’s something a little different than just running. Turbo Jam is a lot of fun, but is tough at the same time so you will want to keep going.

you are on the right track, just keep doing Turbo Jam everyday. This workout is a real calorie burner, and if you try and clean up your diet, you are sure to lose some weight. 20 pounds in two months will take a lot of dedication and hard work.
I can’t give you the food guide in this post, it’s just too involved, but I can tell you a couple things that might help. Try to limit carbs to 1 or 2 servings per day. A serving would be only about 1 cup or rice or pasta, or two slices of bread. Also, try to stick to complex carbs like brown rice and whole wheat pasta and breads. Try not to eat any sweets or soda, this will slow your progress down. Get your vegetables and fruits in each day, along with dairy and protein. Try to “eat clean.” Bake in stead of fry, olive oil instead of vegetable oil, drink water instead of…..well anything else! There is always a better choice when it comes to food.

Hi i’m kayla i’m 22 I just started turbo jam may 5th and lost a pound just a day ago. It’s fun I love doing it im still trying to get used to the moves but I try very hard and if I dont like how i did I start over. Everytime I do turbo jam after I feel soooo good I could do things all day. And I had never felt that good before after a workout. Some of my family is doubting it will work but i’m driven to prove them wrong they go to a gym when i can be at home where im comfortable and not have to spend money a month to be a member. I live out in the country I have plenty of room to ride my bike doing TJ and walking or jogging. So far lost a pound alrdy and I love the way in the middle of a hard workout she is edging u on I love it and it helps alot!! Only thing is it’s hard because I want to lose weight fast and it just wont happen but i’m doing good so far and im over 200 pounds!!

Yes, Turbo Jam definitely works!! I have been using it for two years, it hasn’t gotten easy or boring because I can constantly grow within the program. I went from a size 10 to a size 2 and have been at this weight for a year. My stomach is toned where I always though that I would have loose skin. I LOVE IT.

I have been using turbo jam on and off for about a year or two. In between I have been prescribed a medicine that causes me to lose weight. And since I lost it so fast I have a lot of loose skin around my stomach. Will TJ help me tighten that up completely? Which exercises should I be doing to tighten up that area?

I just purchased the turbo jam DVDs and am excited to start working out… I actually don’t want to lose any weight (in fact I wouldn’t mind gaining some since I weigh only 100 lbs)… I want to exercise just to be healthy and have nice and toned muscles (mostly in my legs and bum) … will turbo jam do that for me? I’m just afraid of losing more weight.

I love Turbo Jam! I did it last year for just a few weeks and lost 8 lbs! However, I have gained some of the weight back and I would like to lose it again soon. I am 5’3″, am almost 15, weigh 130 lbs. My goal weight is 115 or 120. I mostly just want to lose somefat in my tummy, thighs, and butt and get toned up. Is it possible to lose 15 pounds in 4 months with Turbo Jam? What kind of diet should I follow? Thanks!!

that depends on what your fitness level is at when you start, how much you weight, how hard you are working and how well you are eating. A heavy person would lose more pounds in any given amount of time than a slimmer person because the heavier person would need to expend much more energy to do the same exercises. On average, if you are not in good shape and follow the nutrition aspect, you could lose up to 5 pounds in the first week if you are working hard and finishing every workout. If you aren’t in bad shape, it could take a little bit longer. It’s all relative to the person and their abilities and efforts if I am being totally honest. This is why the infomercials say you “could” lose “up to” however many pounds because it all depends on you.
When I did P90X for the first time, I followed the diet really well, but not being in great shape, I wasn’t able to finish every workout, but I tried to every day. I lost 5 pounds that first week. Just because I was working hard and my diet drastically changed.
So work hard and eat right and you should see a change shortly!

sometimes rapid weight loss without exercise can cause lose skin, but if you are working out to lose weight, you will be toning your muscles and you shouldn’t have that problem.

Hello…how many turbo dvds are there? I am a female,weigh 298 pounds am 22 years old and am on a journey to lose 170…I want to eat a 1500 calorie diet…If I do a video that burns 300 calories per say…would I have to make those 300 calories up by eating them? Just so that I don’t go under 1200 calories a day? I’m sorry if it sounds confusing…oh and which dvd would you reccommend for best results?
