P90X Impacting the NFL?
Any of us regular Joes who have tried P90X know how the series can affect our bodies, health, and lives. However, those who haven’t tried it may still wonder if it’s worth the hype. While nothing would prove its effectiveness like actual personal results, a testimonial from NFL kicker David Akers might help a little.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Akers who plays for the Eagles, has greatly improved his game and his health with the P90X series. Like so many of us, he saw a late night infomercial, was impressed, and decided to give it a shot. Says Akers about the program: “…its not some gimmick. It actually involves working hard and changing the regimen all the time”.
After a less than impressive 2007 season, Akers was discouraged with his record and needed something to give him an additional push. In addition to seriously impacting his kicking record in training camp, Akers lost 20 pounds and 6 percent body fat on the program.
“There’s something to it,” Akers says of P90X. “It’s not like, ‘Hey, take this pill, you’re going to lose 40 pounds of fat.’ You bust your butt. It’s tough.”

Iam a huge Eagles fan from Pennsylvania. To see one of our star players having such great success eventho hes subjected to numerous practice sessions and workouts as a professional football player, is definitly a tribute to the truth of this system.
Iam a former US Army Cavalry Scout, and only after 4 months of civilian life i have lost some of the muscle and gained almost 20lbs. I seen the early morning infomercial and decided this new year iam commiting to the 90 day program and cant wait to see my results. I have planned a trip to the a beach in Florida on my Birthday March 30th and I cant wait to show of my new body!
Hey Chris,
Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment! We’re always happy to hear from people ready to take on a challenge that will literally change their lives. P90X is our flagship program and for good reason! It’s intense and it delivers results that are undeniable!
When we found out that David Akers was a P90Xer we were very excited. If a professional athlete is making physical gains with the program it really is proof of it’s effectiveness.
We wish you the very best with the program. Good luck and check back in with us to tell us your results!

Ok… Now that I have seen that David Akers have tried it, Im sold. Im a HUGE Eagles fan (born, raised, and still lives in Philly). Im a hard gainer and it takes a lot for me to put on the mass to be toned.
Im willing to give it a shot..
GO EAGLES!!!!
I am a US Navy SeaBee, kind of a cross between a construction worker and a Infantryman. We are preparing for deployment later this year and I have decided to give P90x the 90 day try to be in better shape for the deployment. I will keep you posted as to my results.

Cool! Good luck Walt!!!
I bought this from a friend. I really want to complete this. I just have a question of what to do. For example I put the Chest and Back CD in day 1. When would i use that CD again? Do i just move to the next CD the next day? This looks like it will really help! Cant wait to get started!

Hi Ismail,
the DVD’s are not exactly in the order that you are supposed to do them in. You really need a calendar or the guide. Contact our customer service team and they can give you the information you need to get one.
