How to Choose the Right Kid Workout Video
Childhood obesity is at an all-time high. Kids are accustomed to sitting in front of the television, computer, or video games and taking little time to stay fit. Kids don’t think about exercising and it is rare for parents to consider a kids workout video. But for today’s children, sometimes it is the perfect high tech childhood fitness solution.
Shaun T’s Fit Kids Club provides the kind of fitness that children will enjoy. They will enjoy it because it is fun! Simple dance moves set to rousing music will get children moving and sweating without making them feel like they are doing dull repetitious exercises. Kid workout videos must be created for kids, not simply repackaged and re-titled.
When choosing a kid workout videos, you want to be sure your child will feel good, not ashamed of what they are doing. Complicated movements or following along with an adult program will leave your child feeling that they are doing a chore and they will not feel confident in their ability. Simple funky moves set to popular dance music will increase your child’s confidence and leave them feeling good about what they have accomplished.
Shaun T is a professional dancer and choreographer. Tell your kids that he has danced with stars like Mariah Carey and Aaron and Nick Carter and they will no doubt be impressed. Shaun has a way of motivating children in his kid workout videos. He is able to teach dance moves to kids of all abilities, taking them through a workout that is more dance party than exercise routine.
Just as you wouldn’t send your child to an adult dance class or aerobics class, why would you want them working out with a video full of adults? Chances are your child would not be interested in a kid workout video that included no kids. It is very important for youth to feel like they fit in. Anything that makes a child feel different has the potential to discourage their self esteem. By providing them with a kid workout video featuring other “cool” kids and a role model like Shaun T, they will feel motivated and more confident.
Children are as turned off by the word “exercise” as they are by the word “vegetable”. If it sounds remotely healthy, they typically don’t want anything to do with it. However, kids love sports and love to play. If you can find kid workout videos, like Shaun T’s Fit Kids Club, that seem more like fun and less like work, you are more likely to have a fitness system that your child will enjoy.

hi, i am 15 years old. i have been known as a pretty weak guy, so i have decided to get p90x, is p90x good for me or age?
Hey Israel,
So, is P90X good for your age. Well, For many people especially those active in sports, the teenage years are actually our prime years for physical fitness, just turn on the 08′ Olympics as proof!
Typically, most people who take part in the P90X program tend to be in their late twenties to early forties, however this is certainly not a hard fast rule. We have plenty of customers who are in their teens who like to add P90X into their sports training for football, basketball and lacrosse etc.
But, you don’t have to be an athlete to start the P90X program. P90X is very flexible, that’s something that a lot people don’t realize. It allows you to choose how much weight and how many reps of a given exercise you’re capable of doing. This gives you the ability to gradually increase your performance as you progress through the program at your own pace. So, if you can’t pump out 30 reps of diamond pushups, maybe you can only do 5, then you mark it down on the worksheet and next week you up the ante. Little by little you improve your performance in relationship to what you can handle.
Try it. We offer a no hassle 30-day money back gurantee, that means you can give it shot, pop in the DVDs check out the workouts and see if the program is the right fit for you. If not send them back and try one of our other programs like Power 90, or 10 minute Trainer, or get a refund. We hope this helps shed some light on the program and we look forward to getting you started and getting your feedback!

Hey guys,
My wife and I have some of Tony’s previous videos and use them regularly when we cannot get to the gym. We’ve been extremely please with the exercises. We had also planned on getting the P90X this summer for a change in routine.
My daughter is a competitive basketball player. She is 13, and plays on a varsity high school select level. This past weekend, she tore her ACL. This was a blow for the entire family & team. We have a great Ortho doctor who she has been seeing. The diagnosis is that she cannot have surgery until she is done growing. That could be a couple of years?? This means therapy for now. She will go to a PA twice a week, and one of our friends is a PT, and is willing to come by 3 or 4 times a week to work out with her as well. (He lives down the street)
Mentally, she wants to overcome this as fast as possible, and is ready to do whatever it takes. Do you guys offer a program that we could use for this situation? Meg has been in Core/strength training for the last 2 years, so we need something for the rest of her body to continue building, but also something light that may help the healing of the knee until she can get surgery. To date, she has not touched a weight, everything is resistance and we want to keep it that way until she is done growing.
