jayjayjajo - It certainly is a commitment and a big change when it comes to taking on P90X. You might find this website

http://www.fitday.com/

to be very helpful when it comes to keeping track of your daily intakes, and making sure you are on par with your diet goals. It's totally free and a real big help when it comes to counting, calories, protein, carbs etc.

You probably already know the best answer when it comes to feeling more energized and rested. Eat right, drink lots of H2O, exercise, and #1, sleep at least 8 hrs a day :) Yes you could grab that energy drink mid-day but it's really not a permanent solution. You may have to sacrifice a sitcom or two to get that extra hour you need. You'd be surprised at how that extra hour everyday really adds up to feeling more refreshed and focused.

matt - I am trying my best to follow the nutrition laid out in the P90X nutritional guide. I have no problem sticking to it, it's just getting used to counting my proteins, carbs, dairy, etc.

My rest is decent. I'd love to sleep more, but typically I am going to bed around 930 -10 and getting up at 5.

jayjayjajo, The Slimming Formula has always been a very popular choice, and we've received some great feed back on it's effectiveness. The 2 ingredients that make it work so well are Pryuvate, and Green Tea.

Check out this link for a bit more info on Pryuvate:
http://www.thefactsaboutfitness.com/articles/pyruvate.htm

Research on green tea has shown to increase thermogenesis, which is basically the generation of body heat that occurs through the normal digestion process, which means it increases the metabolism in a nutshell. Checkout this article from WebMD for more on green tea weight loss benefits:
http://www.webmd.com/news/20000322/drinking-green-tea-may-help-you-lose-weight

Have you tried our Slimming Formula Yet?

5am workouts must be brutal, I'm no morning person myself:) At the moment we don't carry any "Energy" drinks or supplements, mainly because of the crash and burn side effects most of them have. We do our best to offer products that promote energy through nutrition. I have 2 questions for you. Are you eating the way you should be? Are you getting enough rest?

I just ran into your blog today. A great resource since I began the P90X workout two days ago.

I've actually been looking around for a good supplement to burn fat, and energize me. I do my workouts at 5am and have been lagging pretty hard in the afternoons.

Any recommendations that are comparable or more effective than the Slimming Formulas you mention?
